Ha ha magic! My brother was in greenock store and said it was mad!

What got me was how the sa's were taking it so personally - you'd have thought the money was coming out of their pockets! Supervisor tried to tell me and husband we couldn't both buy 3 crates each (2 separate transactions) - only one per household she said - we laughed at her and proceeded 2 buy them ;op ! [STRIKE][/STRIKE]

Also, everybody else (apart from me boo hoo) in my Tesco had a chiminea (sp? Patio heater!). Supposedly they were 6 quid should have been 60! Didn't want 2 post a new topic as not sure of the facts, but might be worth checking out.

Cheers everyone (in Scotland ha ha)

Silverburn was heaving with booze bargain hunters. No problem with buying 2 sets of "3@£7 for £11" at a time.

In fact some dim-wit customers were asking staff "which beers are going through at the wrong price?" and the staff were courteously replying with info. Said it would likely be midnight till the system was fixed.

Staff were bringing pallets of promo stock out onto the shop floor. There was quite a camaraderie amongst shoppers!

Stocked up on Savanna cider, Magners, Stella, Miller GD, Guinness, Bulmers, Grolsch... 15 cases in fact.

Lucky day - I only popped in on the way home to use my last pricecheck voucher on some essentials. Certainly finished off the DTD/PriceCheck run with a bang!

    Clueless!

I guess Tesco don't check HUKD much.

They're claiming the offer (3 for £20) . was supposed to be "buy three boxes of beer and save £11". even though the real reason had been posted on HUKD earlier this afternoon

How can you laugh about stuff like this? Please remember that this is a buiness which needs to make money to survive, therfore cannot afford to loose profits in this way.
