holiday pay when on sick

    Hi no was not offered to take holiday pay st the end of my sick pay. I've been on IR ESA since sick pay ended in April 2009 will look in going to the Cab for advice. thanks for you help

    Although the CAB can be helpful, remember you will probably only see a volunteer with limited training.

    There is a lot of money at stake here so I would try to speak to a solicitor.

    Does your home insurance provide legal advice? A lot do.

    Otherwise are you a member of a trade union or professional body / trade association?

    Thanks i will look into my home insurance. No im not a member of Any trade union

    Do you get a paynote every month/week, even though you are getting no pay?

    Do you get bank holiday payments?

    In the three and a half year after my year full pay I got both the above without asking because all employees got them, that was the sign of being still on the books for hourly paid workers (diffrent for me as I was salaried but 98% of the employee's were hourly paid).

    I got both pay notes and bank holiday pay automatically, employed people normally do because pay notes etc. are part of being employed even if you are not in contract.

    I should have said that my last experiance of leaving work ill was not myself but my husband in July 2009 and he did get the same contractual paynotes etc. as I did and he got his last P60 just last week.

    I haven't been getting pay slips but I do get a yearly P60 showing zero earnings
