mumof3 - I do think that deedee raises a useful point here. Your upset is entirely understandable but bitterness is corrosive and it is you that it will hurt.
Can you not just make yourself view it all as water under the bridge, accept that you're well rid of someone you evidently loathe and who perhaps doesn't deserve anything but contempt from you and concentrate instead on all the good memories of your Dad.
It's a funny thing but hatred rarely wounds the person it is directed against. Instead, it seethes and roils in the heart of the one feeling it and damages the way they look at life. Eventually, their loathing takes over and they can no longer see beauty in anything. Don't let that happen to you.
