Is it just me or has Ryanair now changed their website in that it now shows you the price including tax when you do a search?

I noticed this myself and now says in boxes with dates it is saying low fares available instead of the price etc. On another note i booked through Travel Republic for my flight(with ryanair) and hotel together for 3 weeks time, and i was going to make a new booking for friends today and noticed that travel republic and alpha rooms dont seem to be selling ryanair flights through them.
edit just off the phone to travel republic they say that as ryanair is changing their website then no bookings for flights can be booked through them till ryanair has finished changing it.0 -
I hope this is just a "work in progress" as its much harder to see any good deals with this "low fares available"
The boxes say that for even the days they don't fly a route0 -

I also didn't like the "low fares available" change. This is my first time booking with Ryanair and it was alot easier to see which days were cheaper to fly on before.0 -
This change is the result of a commitment given to the CAA by Ryanair - see this CAA press release dated 28 Feb 2011:
www.caa.co.uk/application.aspx?appid=7&mode=detail&nid=1968CAA Ensures That The Price You See Is The Price You Pay
The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has today welcomed steps taken by most airlines to ensure their websites display airfares in a clear way including all compulsory taxes, fees and charges up front. [...]
Jet2.com and Ryanair have also formally agreed that they will display the full price up front by 28 April and 1 June 2011 respectively. [...]
Agreed that just displaying "low fares available" for each day of the week shown on the flight selection screen isn't very helpful. However I wonder if Ryanair aren't just deliberately making it look a bit rubbish for a day or two as a way of having a dig at the CAA's 'interference' (as Ryanair would probably put it!)...0 -
Lets hope it`s back to "normal" soon because it`s crap at the moment.
You can only advance it to "next day" instead of a week at a time.
Also show "low price available"for days they don`t fly there.
Can`t believe it`ll be like this for long otherwise bookings will slump.0 -
I've been saying for ages that bookings will slump because of the way RyanAir treats its customers like livestock but they never do.Can`t believe it`ll be like this for long otherwise bookings will slump.
Surely they have finally managed to get something right though by displaying the true price right at the start? Obviously being RyanAir there's still a trick or two like the £6 each way "processing fee" which they add on at the end, but most of the fees now seem to be included in the first price customers see. In my mock booking things seemed to be more simple and a little more honest (a word not usually used to describe RyanAir)0 -

You must be mad! How is that mess more simple than before?
The "shouldn't be allowed " brigade will ruin low fares for everyone because they are either to stupid and/or lazy to add up and follow simple instructions regarding baggage, printing boarding cards and card fees.0 -
It's more simple because instead of deceptive pricing, with hidden charges being added every step of the way, the price is clear from the start and the price you see is the price you pay (almost). What's so wrong with that? It's how it should have been all along.budgetflyer wrote: »You must be mad! How is that mess more simple than before?

And what makes you think that showing a clear price up front will ruin low fares for everyone? The price will be the same, just the way it is displayed is different.
Speaking of stupid and lazy, if you're not one of these yourself, then you should be able to adapt to the new system quite easily I would have thought?0
