Just popped into Sainsbobs. They had reduced their Basics stockcubes to 6p for 10 (veg, beef and chicken).

Also noticed that several of their spirits have 20% off. Got Pernod for £14.63 which went very nicely with my £3 off £30. Some of them might work with the APG.
That's hubby sorted for Fathers Day

Waves to you up in the outer hebrides! Glad you've found out that the locals know how to take conditional spends :D. Enjoy the rest of your time "en famille" x

helloooo! It has only just got dark up here, very odd and hard to get used to. Am not tired at all!

If anyone is wanting to use their Tesco rewards on hotels, I can highly recommend Macdonald hotel chain. If you ring them up they will try to do you a one night stay, especially if mid-week, despite it saying 2 nights online.

Not had chance to search for any mocs :rotfl:for a while but did find 1p roadkill yesterday.

The next time the weather is on the telly, have a look at the top left of your screen. Where it says 'Stornoway', then I am currently a bit more North East than there  We are sooooo far North!

    But it is beautiful.:)

, my son has just got back from the local tesco, the one I wont go in anymore, and he had a totally unprovoked run in with the line supervisor, he was talking to the SA as he was paying, the line supervisor came over and talked over him to the SA,he said excuse me I was just talking, she said I know what you want, my son replied how do you know what I want when you are not listening to me, she then told him to SHUT UP, that store gets worse. but it wont go unreported, tesco need to sack everyone that works there and employ fresh new staff cos the trouts are breeding,:eek::eek::eek:

gill if you want to please pm me with which store this is - I am coming to Cornwall in Aug (Newquay) but plan on travelling around and will happily go out of my way to your store. Disgusting what your son has encountered and I remember more of your tales about this store. Tchoh!

I've not voted yet, so I guess I will have to as I cannot complain if things go wrong if I don't even give my opinion/vote. ;) I would like to thank Idlesaver for everything she has done, but seeing as a compromise cannot be found and it is too much work for Idlesaver at the moment then I will vote for moneytight to take over. Thanks once again moneytight for stepping in to do the job, I just hope that if you find it too much or get fed up you will say quickly and maybe then Idlesaver will have more time and will maybe step in again. But hopefully you will last for years;)

Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Using my mobile here so will check what I've missed later however just wondering if any has used The Shopping Club. Got an offer from Groupon today which seems to be too good to be true. Loads of shops involved including asdas which gives 4% discount( as many shops as u want). Also they promise internet vouchers which can be downloaded as often as u want. Offer is for £10 for a year. if you go to groupons website you will see the details.
Just want to know what the catch is??

Scrub that- found info from another thread here. Its a bit of a scam
