Coupon and chat mixed thread

Hi Peeps :wave:

did my first "proper" coupon shop last night, i`ve only ever used the odd couple of coupons at a time when shopping but last night i armed myself with a handful that i`ve saved up and went to Asda

I called ahead to check that i could use 11 at once and the girly on the phone went to check and she said that as long as i have the right product there is no limit :j

Everything went great, the lovely SA on the till had to call the supervisor to key in a code as i used so many but i was really pleased - much better than Sainsbugs. I think that i shall be making a special trip to Asda from now on to do my shopping. Total spent £48.06, total after coupons £28.12 and total to pay £25.75 :j:j

I can`t see anywhere on the receipt where it took off the 3-4-2 on the rice fusions but it did take off £2.37 for something called kids tea??? anyone any idea what this could be? I`ve scoured the site and can`t find anything and i don`t recall seeing any other offers with this name in the store.

I want to say a huge thanks to all of you! I would never have done this without finding this thread :A I love it!

Quick question, I've just looked at the small print on the tesco RTD vouchers, and it says one per transaction. Anyone been successful in using more than one in a single transaction, its only because I have about 6 or so totalling nearly £16 and I'm wondering if I'm going to have problems using them all at once?

Took the husband and kids to Asda last night with my coupons and carefully made list, on the way in explained to the kids what wombeling was. At the entrance to the store was a lonely receipt and all of a sudden my son (15) announced loudly he needed to tie his shoe and bent down to swipe it for me, i had to laugh when i looked and saw he was wearing slip-ons!!
I spent £54.12 and after offers and coupons it came to £20.42 the SA was really nice and had to call the supervisor when the till reached the coupon limit (my son walked away mortified at this point!) and the customer behind me gave up and moved queues!!
(my wombled receipt gave me 82p and my own gave me back £2.65) So a good nights shopping!!
