this is my main thread too although i use a couple of the others that i make sure i check at least once a day.

bold blue for coupons would be great to carry on as already been kinda started
although colour coding will still be forgotton by most, perhap big bold letters on first page would help

    loving the suggestions....
my suggestions would be of similar...

Leave thread as it is..... ( so you don't miss out on fantastic deals like tescos glitch that is now on :rotfl:)

    maybe possibly...
Coupons to be BOLD blue.. so they can be sourced out and checked and then verified and added to main pages of thread.

Deals... like bargains/glitches/comps/freebies/samples etc to be in BOLD Green... as above so they can be found easier.

    etc

problem is some people ( like myself ) tend to use this as our "main" thread and we don't always check the others as often as should, and end up missing so some great Money saving tips/deals etc..

end of the day we are all here to save money? and to have the help of others... without everybody's input we would be sat tweedling our thumbs and throwing money up the walls.

now i'm going to go sit in the corner and hide :D

i really don't want to step on anybody's toes or upset anybody*cry*

and possibly me keep on replying to ppl that have quoted me.. or asked a question is getting on ppl's nerves :rotfl:

so your find me in the cupboard under the stairs with my rubber mallet ready for anybody thats brave enough to open the door :D:p:D

oh an before i send myself to the broom cupboard.....

yes something on the main pages... needs to be put in place in BOLD... to clearly point out that all said posts most be in said colour & bold... keep it simple and gentle reminders... even if it ment having to quote the persons post and stick it in the correct bold/colour ourselves.. so its easy to stand out.

still being decided if right place :rotfl:

    as to rtd rules
i would only use clubcard and credit card free receipts
    to avoid any problems

    Good evening all,
It is with interest that I try and keep up with the thread as often as I can and thank IS for all her hard work.

Now I am unsure if this is the right place to ask now but will do so anyhow if you don't mind....
When wombling reciepts for RTD/price check - please can you let me know if there are any 'rules' regarding if clubcard used or paid using credit card ???
    Does this make a difference??
Sorry if its a silly question.

and Julie, I know what you mean about feeling desperate to stoop to wombling. On down days, when all I seem to worry about is will our money outlive the month and I "bend and snap" yet another discarded, sometimes damp/dirty, foot-trodden receipt I wonder "is this what my life has become?" but on good days, the anticipation of holding that, all of a sudden, shiny, happy, glowing even, receipt in my purse 'til I can check out its worth when I get home is "chicken soup for my soul". Chin up Julie, we've got to try and see opportunity in every difficulty. You're surrounded by wombles, all shapes, sizes and ages on here. You are amongst friends!

I have wombled and really enjoy it, i even take the (very young) children who also enjoy it, my hubby rolls his eyes and tells me to stop taking the kids, but out in the carpark i could be doing anything, it's the self service bins with all the staff 'glaring' at me, thinking, what the hell is she doing???

Evening all  (a nice sunny one)

Not been on here for a few days and we're 18 pages into the new thread  Wow - lots to catch up on. I've just voted (but I'm not yet sure of all the conversation leading up to a vote). Busy with airport runs and in-laws this week :p

Went to Asda today and successfully managed to use 2 fantastic savings vouchers for one pack of nappies (the SA checked with her supervisor who OK'd it) which means I got a free pack of nappies :D

Also got 4 x £5 off £20 spend Boots vouchers today which will go nicely with my clubcard vouchers in Tesco ;)

EDIT - Ahhh right! Now I'm up to date with this voting business I think I have voted wrong. IS has done a fab job on the thread but thumbs up to MT for offering to take over. And after a good hour of skimming through many posts, a separate thread might be a good idea. ;)

Me too, last i posted was something about Tesco, and it was about three days ago, and already 18 pages of this new thread

I feel like entering comps anyway :)

Just going to do that then try to catch up :)

I did read about the girl who go lost in the shopping centre, and someone said the girl got hit with a brolly and punched

No wonder the kid wondered away, though if i'd have did that when i was little, i'd have been slapped on the bum, theres a difference between a slap, and full on punch and kicks.

Thanks. Alas no Morrisons in NI  Forgot to ask, am I missing where to locate the Millicana coffee coupon? I received a 70p off with the free samples but where is the 50p located? Can't seem to find it anywhere on the site.

    Many thanks
