Coupon unrelated again I'm afraid; but one not to miss I feel, too much of a bargain - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3270312

Apologies and wet fish graceously taken if you feel necessary.
a prime example.. if we kept the thread to just "coupon" related.

    guess where im off too.........:D

Evening all, just caught up with today's posts :) A massive thank you to Aesop, Mad and CW for your replies regarding the GFS. Sounds like a fabby day out! Didn't order my tickets with clubcard vouchers in the end, have entered a few comps so will keep my fingers crossed and if all else fails I may just buy the tickets anyway! Thank you so much for your tips guys :)

    Brilliant- thanks!

You should be OK with the 70p moc gt cos it doesn't say 'Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer' etc on it but I think the printable 50p ones do, I don't know about yours but both my M's can be very picky about using mocs on items that are on special offer
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

 away for 2 days with a migraine (still got but missing the thread)
not only do we have a new thread but i've had 333 posts to catch up on.
    wow now thats busy.

IS wanted to add my thanks for doing the thread and fully understand why you need a break.

MT thanks for offering to take over, hope you know what your letting yourself in for.:)

i have posted a few times about the difficulty in getting through the thread and unrelated stuff.
but this upset a few although unintentionally.

my only concern about separate threads is there will still be a certain amount of chatter on a coupon only thread regardless, you can never stop that 100%
    so
how do we decide/draw the line at what is aloud to be posted if the thread splits?

    do we say allow
    coupons- in blue
    questions/answers to coupon use
    deals related to coupons available
    hellos/goodbyes and well being chat

and dis allow say(move to drivel thread say)
    competition posting
    shopping lists
    tesco/asda price check stuff
    non coupon related deals
    argueing and such like
    OR
can we say keep the thread as is but ask people to think more about what is posted by suggesting that competitions ,tesco/asda stuff ,non coupon related deals and such like are perhaps posted in their relevant threads

before i'm jumped on these are just suggestions well not even that really but i do think something should be decided either way

    oh and EVENING ALL

    Tip toes in....

2 pence worth, if its worth that much...

I thought IS wanted a break, having been in charge for some time now and done an absolutely fab job of taking care of this thread. Moneytight kindly offered to take over and, I believe, doesn't object to wading through the chat to find mocs. To me that seemed quite straight forward. Sadly I was wrong.

To me, you will never stop all chat on this thread, as people like to share additional information that helps others out. Some folk also like to be friendly and share a bit more. I've actually never subscribed to this thread - as a rule the information is good for more than the next couple of hours, so I see no need. I just pop in when I have time and scan through from the newest post. There is quite a bit of extra chat at the moment, but with a lot of new people joining the thread, I think that is to be expected. I also think it will die down some over time - especially as summer gets here, as lots of forums do quieten down with folk on hols, kids home, etc.

I'll continue to scan through when I have time and hope that I won't see the friendly nature of this thread change. I've never been a Bootser, but heard though other online friends what happened there..

must add though i'm having trouble voting in some ways

    because i think
if the thread stays as is, IS deserves the break and MT has the time to take over.

    But
if the thread is split its less work and it would be nice if IS could stay if she wants and for a second person to look after the chat thread

oh what to do  i am finding others posts on this very good /helpful reading

    loving the suggestions....
my suggestions would be of similar...

Leave thread as it is..... ( so you don't miss out on fantastic deals like tescos glitch that is now on :rotfl:)

    maybe possibly...
Coupons to be BOLD blue.. so they can be sourced out and checked and then verified and added to main pages of thread.

Deals... like bargains/glitches/comps/freebies/samples etc to be in BOLD Green... as above so they can be found easier.

    etc

problem is some people ( like myself ) tend to use this as our "main" thread and we don't always check the others as often as should, and end up missing so some great Money saving tips/deals etc..

end of the day we are all here to save money? and to have the help of others... without everybody's input we would be sat tweedling our thumbs and throwing money up the walls.

now i'm going to go sit in the corner and hide :D

    Good evening all,
It is with interest that I try and keep up with the thread as often as I can and thank IS for all her hard work.

Now I am unsure if this is the right place to ask now but will do so anyhow if you don't mind....
When wombling reciepts for RTD/price check - please can you let me know if there are any 'rules' regarding if clubcard used or paid using credit card ???
    Does this make a difference??
Sorry if its a silly question.
