If you're looking to eat somewhere nice, then try Dubh Prais restaurant on the Royal Mile. Or the Blue Maison. These were around almost a year ago, so not sure if things have changed.

Mother India on Infirmary Street is fab. It's an Indian, tapas style, which suits me because I can never decide what I want, so I can have a bit of everything.

I've been to the Mother India in Glasgow, similar Tapas style, and if the food is anything like that of the Glasgow restaurant, I'd definitely recommend. Perhaps the same owners?

You should try the pub/bar Frankensteins. It's not far from the national museum, if its a spook fest you're doing!
