    What is the content an nature of the files you wish to access?

    Have you fixed your infected pc yet?

    Email them to your works email account or if you are allowed access to your private email then email them to that.

    If it's as you say then have you not got a good HR or Occupational Health department that could offer support in enabling you to use your USB stick?

    If you have a Lappy,or a smart phone take them with you, but don't buy an iPad (sends shivers down my spine) , the other suggestions are fair but some need a fixed IP address, but Teamviewer doesn't but then again I am not convinced about its security (having said that I do use it, caveat emptor :D).

    Maybe you could ask your IS (or in my experience "is NOT") department could they make them available if you send them to them to scan etc., bearing in mind they are under same privacy rules as all employees.

    That is what I started to do, but the largest of the PDF files is approx 750 pages.

    Suppose I'll have to look at other ways of getting them iont work.

    Doing anything of the kind without express and if you have any sense written permission dated & signed from someone of senior authority could and should lead to your instant dismissal.

    Your union, if you have one won't be able to offer you any protection whatsoever, when it hits the fan no one regardless of what they say at the moment will want to defend you. In the case of medical files you are on even more dangerous grounds Get written authority or don't do it dori2o.
