Lol we live in Copnor which is perfect. Close enough to town but not too close to get stuck in the Fratton Park/seaside traffic. Close enough to the motorway and trainline to escape the island if need be but not close enough for the noise. Complete and utter winSpent 4 years there - totally agree!
And it's far far away from all the students

lol and its on a very busy main road in and out of Gosport/Lee and Stubbington. That road is a nightmare for two hours either side of rush hour and when the sun is out its not work leaving the driveway!
Worked just off Newgate Lane, behind the ASDA petrol station.
Working 0600-1400 had its advantages.0 -

Live in St George's Barracks.
Just walk down the road and hop on the ferry.
The solution to the A32 gridlock is to build more developments in Gosport (Priddy's Hard, a new Rowner ghetto in progress, and soon another one to start on the Haslar site).0 -

Love that! Refurbished throughout but we aren't going to show you any internal pictures...you'll just have to take our word that the binbags in front contain all the old nasty carpets etc0 -

Ooooohhhh - I've been waiting for a thread like this for a while.
House I've been keeping my eye on for a while, as per the link below.
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-29797964.html
A bit of background info. Semi-detached houses in this area generally go for around £210k - £220k. This house was put up for sale in October 2010 for £237,500 (so already well above the average for the area) and I guess had no interest, so in a genius move the seller INCREASED the price to £260k! :T:T
!!!!!!? :eek:My debts at 11th April 2011:
Virgin Credit Card - [STRIKE]£1,900[/STRIKE] £1,500 (21.1% paid off)
Nationwide Authorised OD - [STRIKE]£2,000 [/STRIKE] £1,500 (25% paid off)
Student Loan - exact amount TBC but circa £5,000
I'm on the road! :T0 -
