Questions about cashback through Mobileshop and Quidco???

I have recently (on 28/11/06 to be exact) purchased a mobile phone on O2 monthly contract through Mobileshop. I also went through Quidco. I have 2 questoins regarding this and any help will be greatly appreciated:
1. On the Quidco page for Mobileshop it says tracking takes 0-39 days. My transaction hasn't tracked yet. I know I have only ordered 14 days ago but I'm worried that it might not track. My question is should I wait for the whole 39 days before I query the lack of tracking???
And for those who have used Mobileshop through Quidco before, in general how long did you wait before your transaction was tracked??
2. My second question might seem a bit stupid as I think I might know the answer but I just want to make sure for fear of missing something: I am on an 18 month contract. It says that I will be given cashback after months 6, 10, 14, 16, 17 and 18 bills and that I should send a copy of the bill within a month of its issue date otherwise I won't get cashback. My question is: Do I send of copies of only the bill of the given month or all previous months?? (To make myself clearer do I send off Bill No 6 only or bills 1 to 6 to be eligible for my first cashback??)
Sorry for the long post and the stupid questions but I really don't want to lose any money on this. Thanks everyone.

I can't help on the cashback (I would like to know actually) but I would suggest querying the transaction with quidco. You can do it after 14 days, and lets fact it what transaction takes more than 14 days to track.

Unlike some dealers Mobileshop do not have any contradictory terms regarding which bills to send. Bill 6 is the 6th bill from your service provider, bill 10 is the 10th bill etc.

I think it may have been prudent to have searched this forum for posts relating to MobileShop's recent performance re cashback/referral payments before committing yourself to an 18 month contract.
I fear that you will find that MobileShop will be but a distant memory in 18 weeks, let alone 18 monthsYou'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky

I send a photocopy of the front page of the bill by registered post to mobileshop's claims dept.
You need to write your cashback claim number on the copy that you send. If you lose it, you cannot get it reissued so it is important to keep it safe.
Use your mobile to remind you when 'cashback' bills are due.
I file mine in a document folder and I write the cashback address, claim number and the dates that the bills are due. Haven't missed one yet!
They (mobileshop) take 60 days to credit your account. I'm on 61 and have an email dated yesterday (after I emailed them) saying it should be here within 14 days.

I did search the forums before I committed myself and MobileShop was one of the sites which were praised re: giving cashback to customers. I think there was also a poll about which sites were reliable and MobileShop got a good percentage. Now you have me worried. Did something happen to you personally???Ithis site!!!

They have recently increased the number of cashback claims you have to make on a 12 month contract, initially from 4 to 5, then from 5 to 6.
Then they've increased the number of working days before they pay out; from 45 to 60.
They've also recently started offering cheap electrical alternatives instead of cashback payments (a £30 DVD player in lieu of a £150 cashback, for example).
They've missed their payment deadlines repeatedly over recent months (both cashback and referral), initially they blamed BACS software problems (ha ha, not even funny) and now they've changed tack and are blaming the network operators for changing their payment structure.
My own personal opinion is that it's not a case of if MobileShop go belly up, it's a case of when.You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky

Mobileshop were one of the best regarding cashbacks but that was before they started to delay cashback payments beyond the time stated in their t&cs. They came out with a whole load of bogus excuses and ended up extending their redemption waiting period from 45 days to 60 days. You may have read up on mobileshops performance before these recent occurances. So far I have got 4 out of 4 cashback redemptions but the last one was a couple of weeks late. I have 2 contract phones from them now and have just sent for the first cashbacks on each. I am not expecting a positive outcome and am of the opinion that they are in trouble otherwise they would not be messing their customers around like they are doing. My advice to anyone considering mobileshop is DON'T ( at least until they get their act sorted out)

There's been a fair bit of discussion regarding Mobileshop's reliabilty in recent weeks:
