For a really low interest loan while your on benefits you should go to your nearest credit union. If you agree to have your benefits paid directly into their account so they can take off the loan amount first they pretty much guarantee that they will give you a loan.

You can find a list of them here:

Being honest I dont think there is anywhere that you will be able to get a loan whislt you are on benefits. Even with a credit union you will have to show a pattern of saving before they will lend you the money.

Are there no friends or family members you can borrow off? I will move this to the loans board for you, as they may be able to help.

MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.

Hats off to you for wanting to get back to work but a loan is not the answer. You have no means of repayment of any loan, as you say, your benefits are already accounted for.
You cannot use future (expected) earnings to base loan repayments on.

Your only sensible option is your parents.

already tryed parents but living with them an having to pay them rent doesnt help atall tbh...thats why i wuda prefered a loan from the jobcentre so they can take it from my benefits then once i had work id jus pay what ever i owed off straight away but they dont want to help either cos its not classed as living costs...surely they want me off benefits an back into work but they cant be that fussed tbh

To be fair, you can't point the finger at them. The purpose of benefits is to ensure you can put food on the table to survive, not dish out loans for better paying jobs than the post vacant closest to you.

In all honesty, you knew this day was coming the day you were banned and could have planned accordingly.

Ask your parents to let you off rent for a while and pay them back when you are back in employment.

I hope that you are not expecting to get a job that involves you having to write any letters.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
