Thanks guys
I just got home now and god what a disaster of a day Ive had!
First of the bus turned up and turns out they will only accept exact amount in coins only. Never had that with stagecoach so I had no idea the Newport bus would be like that! Anyway I asked this lady if she had change for a £10 note but she didn't - then the bus driver got really annoyed with me because I didn't know what stop I wanted - I said the name of the road but it turns out that road is miles long and costs different amounts depending on where you want to get off.....Grrr. Anyway so this lady gave me money so I could actually catch the bus
Then the interview - well Ive litterally no idea how it went, it was like nothing Ive ever had before. The fact I couldn't drive came up and they said it wouldnt matter for the 3 month probationary period but after that they would encourage me to have passed my test within X amount of time....
The guy is interviewing like 10 people though so I don't know what my chances are - I should know by Monday though so at least Ill know one way or the other before my second interview next week.
Realised I then didn't have any change to get the bus back home so I went into Sainsbury's and ended up getting given the totally wrong kind of change so I STILL couldn't pay for the bus so I then had to buy something else just so I could break down the damn notes....
Popped into town before I came home as we needed some chicken for dinner - I went to use my card like Ive done 10billion times before and entered OH's pin (probably because I had to use his card the other day) anyway I then got flustered and entered what I thought was my pin - which I later realised was for my old card from about 2 years ago...Ended up locking my account and now for the life of me can't remember my pin at allDon't even know how thats possible. Now I have to wait 4 days to be resent my pin number.....
Oh and it was pouring down on the way home so I got absolutely soaked
GAAAAH! My celing is now leaking again and the Estate Agents is shut......grrrrMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

Ooh I had a nice surprise when I got home. Had a parcel in my postbox. You may remember that the orange Collection 2000 nail polish stained my nails a few weeks back? I emailed to complain and they asked me to send back the varnish for investigation. Well they have replied claiming there was nothing wrong with the varnish and that next time I should use a base coat (ummm I told them I'd used their base coat in my complaint! :rotfl:) but to apologise for the inconvenience they have sent me some free stuff and a cheque for £10
. So I have some unintentional INs:
- Collection 2000 Bronzing Pearls 15g pot - which is great cos I'm almost out of bronzer!
- CCUK Double Volume Mascara
- CCUK Lip Shiner lip gloss in shade Nude 20
- Collection 2000 Colour Extreme Lipstick in shade #1 Delight.
I'll defo use the bronzer and mascara. The other two I'm not too sure on.
What the Facebook swapping thing about that I've seen mentioned on here? If someone could kindly PM me the info I'll happily offer the lip gloss and lip stick.

Also just done PYN Friday. 2True Nail polish in shade #14 which is like a bright Navy colour, with a diagonal stripe of Boots no17 silver crackle on top. The dress I'm wearing out tonight is blue/black/silver stripes so matches well!
I have taken pic but don't have time to upload now sorry!

2 INs for me this week - Avon order arrived consisting of hair colour and deodorant. Don't have any stash of these. Am at hairdressers tomorrow for a cut and blow so won't put colour on just yet.
Have had a non-toiletry related :money: day as well:-
Went shopping for some socks for a birthday present for one of Emma's friends from New Look. There was a glitch on the till I went to and it knocked 25% off (apparently this was only on selected lines).
Then bought some cards and a gift bag from Clintons and a discount came off this that I couldn't fathom out (not that I tried too hard!)
Thirdly, my replacement GHDs came. I was a bit worried because my old ones were very close to the end of the warranty.
Don't have any toiletry shops planned over the weekend.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

What a day you've had Charlie! I knew Cardiff Buses were exact money only but it's a couple of years since I caught one. They must make a small fortune from people dropping in cash to the nearest pound or 50p who don't want the hassle of dropping in shrapnel.
For those hunting down the Palanquin Spiced Tea (masala chai) this is a link to the Mr T's website that shows what it looks like on the shelves.

Two INs coming up for me - I'm running out of foundation and heat protection spray, so will swing by Boots tomorrow and pick those up. But they're needed INs so they're OK.
I've also got two more nail polishes on my list to eBay, as I'm trying to cut my stash down to just the ones I really like. Sadly Barry M seem to be losing a lot of 'polish-offs' lately for me, not for any reason other than I don't like the colours as much as I thought I did and the application can be a bit rubbish.
Also, can I ask if anyone here has used Lancome Teinte Idole foundation before? I'm thinking of giving it a whirl as an alternative to my current foundation (Benefit Playsticks) but not sure if it's worth trying so figured someone here must have used it before!
And at which point should you throw a foundation out? I've still got the tube of Playsticks from before the tube I'm currently using and am using that as a concealer digging right down into the tube, but there's still loads left and I've got visions of me surrounded by tubes of this stuff just to get all of it!mcculloch29 wrote: »I sniffed the Spicy Vanilla BB earlier and the smell was so evocative of chai, (spiced tea) which I love. I've just made myself a huge mug of spicy milky sweetness. Gorgeous. Twinings do a passable chai, but Mr T sell a brand called Palanquin that knocks spots off Twinings.
I would never eat toiletries, but this BB is really linked to the drink, if you get my meaning. Once I start using this I can see me starting every morning with a mug of spiced tea.
That's just made me want Spiced Vanilla Body Butter and a big mug of Tea Palace Chai"A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
I've had a uu of 200 ml BS Shea Body Butter. WIBA? Yes, love the texture and smell of this. I'm estimating I'll be able to use up another body butter by the end of June if I use it every day rather than swapping and changing my bb's every day or two dependent upon mood as I normally do.0
