:) MF, I was thinking when I chucked out my LHJ shampoo yesterday that it was almost like throwing out a fixture or fitting, it had been there that long.
Another UU A 50 ml Olay Aqua Physics Anti Wrinkle serum. This seems to have been around for ages too, I carried it in my handbag for a long while until I got the little 7ml Olay freebies. It's spent the last fortnight stood propped up on its cap in the little basket I have in the bathroom whilst I got the dregs out as it's a pump bottle. WIBA?
Yes, this is an easy product to use that suits my skin, I got it in Savers so it wasn't expensive either. The blue tint was a little offputting but it never shows on the skin. Does it reduce wrinkles? Well, mine are fairly minor still, but remembering how my sister's skin seemed to wrinkle rapidly in her early fifties, perhaps it did a great job in holding them at bay.
Can't decide whether or not to use my Moisture Surge under the remaining Simple moisturiser as that is still spluttering, or go for the Garnier 14 day sachets. Probably UU the Simple as that is a very LHJ at 125 ml that I want to see gone.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
We noticed the other day we'd completely missed some really obvious things! They've been there so long that they just seem part of the furniture even though one of them is a sombrero on the back of the door!

:rotfl: When OH and I moved house just after we got married we completely forgot to pack up the kitchen :o It wasn't until the van turned up to collect our stuff that we realised :rotfl:

One IN - the Garnier samples arrived :D

It actually looks really weird without the teatowel hung over the electric trip box

Mrs LL emailed me to say she would deduct over a week's rent! It's more than I was hoping since we have been able to move our things in this week and am v happy :D
    Yay nice landlords :)
  • Is it possible to have something you thought was an OUT come back in? I was using my James Brown Scandalous conditioner as shaving cream this morning, thought I'd finished the tube but could still hear something in there so bent it at the top and there was still loads in it. I checked the shampoo bottle and the same thing happened, so that's come back in to be properly finished (although I think it only has one more wash worth in it at most so should be gone before the end of the month).

Charlie, I'm going to nip up to Oxford Street this afternoon after work as I have some time to kill before my hairdressers appointment, so can get two Grazias and go to Debenhams and Boots to get the stuff, and then send you one if you want?

thanks for the offer but its ok I can live without more stuff cluttering the house, especially considering I might be moving soon :o

I am litterally :j this morning...Kind of stupid reason why but, last year I did a bit of Matched Betting to keep myself going (did pretty well too). Id signed up to a particular site and saw that there was a Quidco cashback on it. It never tracked so I raised a claim for it back in Februrary. Didn't think Id ever hear anything again about it but this morning its just been confirmed :T

    :j Another UU! :j

Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel - WIBA? Smelt delicious and lathered well - in fact the only downside to this one was that I found it slightly more liquid than some of theirs - once it was turned upside down to get the last out I found I have to turn it back right way up again before flipping the cap open else it all dribbled out everywhere! On the whole though that was a minor inconvenience. Just replaced it from the cupboard with a BS Sweet Lemon one.

I have one of these open and love the smell too. I have a Sweet Lemon one in the stash as well and was thinking of using it next but I think I'll keep it for holidays.

    Afternoon all!

I am taking a 'break' from working on the VAT returns (though in all honesty my breaks have been longer than my working hours :o I did clean around the house too) from home.

Forgot an IN from my Superdrug order
Simple Eye Makeup Remover Pen (£3.49) - Loved the idea of this. I did not buy their wipes to clean after each use. If I notice it's necessary I'll just use the Boots wipes.

Also yesterday I went to B**ts to buy some concealer. This I do need and have been looking for a while. I like the Bobbi Brown ones but didn't feel like paying too much (esp. as I'm awfully considering the Nails Inc Violet Matte collection :o:eek:). I swatched the Rimmel Match Perfection one which was ok, but not as good a match as this I thought (and so did the SA).

    INs
(Unnecessary spend £11.99 as these were on 342)
    Myface Concealer (£7.99)
Myface Blingtone Purple Haze (9.99) - I have one of these in the shade Diamonds & Pearls and I love it!
Myface Eyetouch shadow Trio Stop & Stare (turquoise) (9.99)

I did go to the local store which has a tiny Myface stand. Otherwise I would have bought two Blingtones if I'd had the full range in front of me.

Did I mention I have a slight eyeshadow problem to go with my nails problem?? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks for the tips about the sari guys :) Now I just need to figure out which one :rotfl:

MarzipanFish Great news about getting some money back!!

Rosemary I'm really glad DS3 is graduating all ok :T
Hugs to everybody. I'm off to make more of a dent in my 'done' pile before my dad gets home and questions how it's going!:eek:
No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60

I'm glad you're wearing a sari Sawan, they are so beautiful.

Do you know what the bride's colour scheme is? My niece had an ivory and black colour scheme for hers as there was military tartan all over the place and a subsequent riot of colour from the men at the wedding. My sister wore black and cream, I wore black with a small touch of red.

Okay ... my first ever naughty step visit.

:o I'd been longing to try the Spiced Vanilla Body Butter from BS, and it's currently half price. So I got one from the Durham Body Shop. :o I do have the Aldi BB and my little BS Marie Claire freebie. The BS BB will only last a week though, and the spiced vanilla fragrance is exactly what I hoped it would be.
My body lotions are both at the dregs stage and Poundland had Dove Firming Body Lotion with White Tea extract. Superdrug has this at £3.00 online, but it was £4.38, so I don't think that one fully deserves the naughty step.

We've been surrounded by black clouds today, I remembered to put a brolly in my shopping backpack and thank goodness, because I walked home in a cloudburst. It was literally more intense than my bathroom shower.
