Had another uu, fcuk polished sugar scrub, I used the whole 75ml tub in the shower, was a bit too like flake away for my liking, squished between my fingers and was hard to use. I didn't really need it all but I am quite generous with scrubs and there wasn't enough for another full use.

My Benefit goodies came through the post this morning, one box was squashed but otherwise OK, they are very cute.

Have two more uses in my Clean on me and then it will be done:j, will be moving onto a moringa shower gel, scrub and body butter then, all in the mini sizes.

Well I didn't get the job - had an email this morning. Apparently I came a close second, Not that its really much help to me. OH keeps jokin 'so your still jobless then' or words to that effect as if its funny. Really don't see how - he won't be laughing when we have no money left to pay the rent.

Better just keep my fingers crossed for Wednesday now for this call centre job....

I will go insane if I have to spend any more time stuck at home doing nothing with no money :(

OH and me are off to IKEA this afternoon - he needs to find out where he needs to go Monday for his interview anyway so seeing as IKEA is just down the road it makes sence, we need a few bits and bobs for the house anyway....He said he would buy me something nice (bless) to cheer me up but I told him not to bother seeing as he's paying my rent for me AGAIN this month and the fact I have to borrow money off him just so I can get up to uni on Monday to pick up my degree - If I dont get a 2.1 Im going to cry

No UUs or INs to report, but that could be because I've not gone out, and have no splutterers. I can finally almost see the base of the EL Advanced Repair eye serum thing my sister2 gave me (anybody would think she knows I'm on this challenge and is trying to sabotage it :rotfl: - in fairness about the eye gel she gave it to me last year but I only opened it this year).

Just trying to work through all these invoices/accounts for work. Urgh.

Charlie, so glad you heard back from your nan. And a job will definitely turn up soon, you have all of us keeping our fingers crossed for you :)

I made a coffee and thought I'd spilt a bit, and you know how there's always a dribble down the side or on the base? So I put a tissue under it, and next time I looked up the tissue was soaked! So I looked at the mug and the tiny chip at top has cracked down a bit, and I can only figure it's leaking through the crack! I really liked that mug :(

Minerva I hardly use my liquid foundation and I've had it at least two years!! :o It's still perfectly fine though, and colour hasn't changed. I think I've got to use it more or just not replace my Benefit Hello Flawless when that's finished so I have to finish it.

Flutterby your nails sound lovely, great idea :)

Sarah I hope Little Dog's meds turned up.

Everyone's really been relatively behaving, it's so good. I'm destined to live on the naughty step I think :o

Might wander to shops if I ever finish this ****** paperwork :( Want to replace my EL Idealist. I've been using the Boots Time Delay Radiance Booster, which seems to be a moisturiser in its own right, though the box does say use a moisturiser on top if you have dry/dehydrated skin. I've also had breakouts on tmy cheeks. That just hit me. I wonder if it's that? I'll have to try not using it for a few days, or using it by itself without moisturiser on top. Trying so hard not to itch right now!!

charlie that sounds like so much bad luck for one day! I hate no change on buses. Not too bad when it's £1.20 or so but so annoying when it's ~£1.80 or £3 or £4 for a day ticket. Luckily the buses i get now all do change.
Good luck with the next interview

mcculloch I'm impressed you've got even more :p We now have a cupboard just for tea & hot drinks. It smells yummy in there. I think my oddest tea is flower tea I got in china. It's actual dried flowers (crysthanthemum i think) so you get a load of petals floating round in your cup even if you use a strainer!

Done the rest of the moving yesterday. So much unpacking to do! Back in the old place now for a brief visit because we strangely still have internet. Horribly dusty in here and the oven's going to take ages to clean. Fun tasks for next week :(

:) Marzipan, it's not a proud boast about the teas, honest! My everyday tea is Yorkshire Tea but I love a bit of novelty.

Some UU's :j Firstly, the mystery body lotion I was sent to try. At first I loved this, liked the gentle peach scent but it had its shortcomings. I do like applying lotion fairly liberally, but you couldn't do that with this. Thanks to this challenge my skin is in very good nick so it could be that this is a lotion for drier skin than mine. It felt sticky if I applied more than a small amount. If I see a peach scented lotion being launched I'll know not to bother.
I now have the Spiced Vanilla BS BB to treat myself to.

Another UU OS Shea Butter and Honey Shower Cream. WIBA? This isn't quite a HG but I do love it, so yes. Only when it's £1 or less though. Which, happily, is fairly often.

A small almost UU'ed but chucked- An ancient Boots Evening Primrose Oil hand cream. This was so old it predated the 'use up by so many months' symbols! I was using it as a foot cream but it wasn't really good enough for that. It had been on the kitchen windowsill for years so I really should have binned it earlier.
WIBA? Have no idea if Boots still make it, but no, applying lotions and butters daily means I don't need hand cream at the moment.

UU - Bayliss and Harding Mandarin and Grapefruit 750ml shower gel (I think - chucked the bottle ages ago) been using it as the shower gel but also as handwash as the bottle was way too big it was decanted into a 500ml shower gel bottle and 250ml handwash bottle. Just finished it :)WIBA? Yeah, it was a birthday present but if I ever see it I'd get it coz it smells lovely.

I received the Origins freebie this morning. What a stingy size! I had hoped for something slightly larger in the mls size. I think I have become rather spoilt with my freebies of late though.

I have put it in my travel make up bag for my break next month.

No other movement on my splutterers yet.

    Evening everyone

Been busy of late so have not caught up yet but last week was not very good (went downhill from Tuesday onwards). Trying not to dwell on it but the last straw was when a house viewing was booked for Thursday teatime (had kids at friends house having their tea) scrubbed the house top to bottom for two days and then they never turned up. Estate agents were not happy either but I doubt they will be able to contact them - if they didn't want to see the house they shouldn't have booked in the first place or cancelled.

Also, trying to arrange flights to see relatives in Portugal and just the flights are over £1000:eek: -can't afford it and worried sick what to do -really want to see them and also kids are excited but booking in August I knew it would be expensive but I haven't been abroad for over 10 years so I suppose I am a little out of touch. I was so excited when I received our passports last week aswell.

I would usually console myself with some toiletries but even after L'occitane have reduced some items further I'm still not that tempted......:(

Anyway, charlie.... I hope things go well for you on Monday .....fingers crossed :)

Hugs to anyone who needs them.

It does take ages and is probably not practical with kids but I went to Lisbon on Eurolines buses (like National Express for Europe) when I was too scared to fly and was very reasonable.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
