Problems with my wireless headphones in my TV

Hi all.I was wondering if some people would be kind enough to help me.
I've just bought these headphones:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/WIRELESS-CORDLESS-HEADPHONES-HEADSET-MIC/dp/B003LL0S5M/ref=pd_cp_ce_1
I basically bought them so I could plug them into the tv when I'm playing on my PS3 late at night so I don't wake up my girlfriend. But I've now realised that my tv does not have a headphone socket which the emitter would plug in to.The TV does have red & white av components which the cable provided with the headphones fits in to.But this doesn't seem to be working.I have my PS3 plugged in via a HDMI cable, would this be the reason why the AV cables aren't working?
Could someone help me out as to how I can fix this issue and get these headphones working with my tv (which is a Samsung 32b350 btw).Would I need an adaptor of some kind?
Many thanks.Josh

Josh, I don't know your headphones or your TV but the basis of sound reproduction is usually very simple. I'd be inclined to look for "Audio Output L + R" on the variety of sockets on your TV set. Plug your left and right mini-jacks into those and the headphones should work ok.0

Specs here, it should be on the back

I see 2 x 10w audio power outputs, those are the chaps you should be connecting to. Well done Santer.0

Thanks for the swift response guys.I plugged the red & white jacks into the L & R output sockets in the TV as soon as I got the headphones but they don't work. I'm guessing it's because I'm using a HDMI cable from my PS3 to my TV not using a scart sockrt.
KillerWatt: What do you mean by taking an audio feed from the scart socket?I'm using a HDMI cable with my PS3.Thanks.0 -
It shouldn't matter what kind of lead you are using from your PS3. The output is from the TV. If you are getting no sound then you have a setup issue between the outputs and the receiver.0

That's what I thought. But it's definitely not working.I've gone through the setup on my tv and it's not working. There is a mini cable that can connect to the red & white cables coming from the emitter and they have a headphone jack on the end, but this TV doesn't have a headphone socket in.0

Have you got the batteries in it .0

Yeah batteries in it and I've also got an AC Adaptor in it too.Lights are on the emitter and headphones but I can't work out why it's not working. Annoying me now.0

It could be faulty. Sounds like you're doing everything right and let's face it, two audio cables don't constitute rocket science. I'd take the h/phones back and either have them tested or get another set.0 -
I have a simliar but smaller Samsung tv which has a headphone socket and the headphones work fine in that. So I'm nto sure what it is.Maybe you have to use the headphone jack in a tv for it to work?Although the item description says you can use it in the AV sockets.0
