Aaah! I was doing so well and was set to come in under budget but then spent £13 at Morrisons yesterday. It's not so bad as it has made extra meals for the freezer for next month but I'm still annoyed! Oh well...

    Hi all,

I was MIA but did keep the receipts and reasonably up to date with logging them - well in spurts really. Anyway, declaring at £180.71 for June so very pleased.

Moneysav3r, could you give your recipe for salmon pasta with the smoked slamon trimmings? I got some today, because they were so cheap and had so far only thought about putting them in a prawn cocktail. (I had this as a starter on a meal out and it was yummy.)

I'd also like any other ideas for using them, especially lower calorie ones. I do a lovely single cream and smoked salmon sauce, but again, that's very high in fat.

I've done a smoked salmon and broccoli frittata before. I add a spoonful of quark because slimming world recommend it but I use that whenever I have it because it makes it so light and fluffy.
