Hi Peeps :wave:
i`m declaring at £247.42 for June please MrsM.
Just under what i budgeted for and i must admit that i didn`t think that we would make it at one stage :eek:
I`ve decided that as we are away for our hols in July that we shall abstain from the GC this month. This will seem weird as i think i`ve taken part in the GC for around two years continuously without a break
Hopefully it will be a cheap month foodwise as we have lots in the freezer and the holiday budget will take care of the food spends so i`m not too worried.
See you all soon :wave:
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon

:eek: We came in over budget
. We spent £134.46 which is £34.46 over the £100 budgeted. However my partner bought a lot of meat that is in the freezer for him; burgers, sausages, bbq kebabs, meatballs etc - all bought reduced or on deals.
I have 6 home made ready meals and there is enough food, that we already have, to go in a slowcooker to make another 4 or so home made ready meals.
Even though we spent more than budgeted I am sure we will be able to claw it back in the next month or two as he does not need any more meat - believe me there is plenty in the freezer! - and I can eat up the food I have before going out to get more. (That is the desperate voice of someone who can't believe they over spent and trying to rationalise it
)
Here is to hoping July is under budget!I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy
