    Hello all:wave:

I did join in at the begining of the year and things were going great but I somehow fell off the wagon and have ended up right back where I started:eek:
Foot down time, I am going to meal plan and I am going to make some overpayments to my credit card this month!!!!

Can I please be put down for £300 for June. This is to run from 31 May to 30 June for 2 adults and 2 children (and a snake).

I am working off a weekly limit of £60 a week (5 weeks in June) as I find it easier to stay within budget going from week to week. I have sorted out my freezer and cupboards today and wrote a meal plan! I also did an online shop to come tomorrow so I do not need to go shopping again till atleast next week.

I am off out for an early birthday meal with DH this week but that comes out of a different budget. It's also my DS1 birthday at the end of the month and he has already put his order in for his birthday cake! If anyone has any foolproof chocolate cake recipes it would be much appreciated! Will try and get everything I need for that within the GC budget but it might be tight?

One last question, can anyone please explain the second purse idea to me? I remember it being mentioned a few months ago but I can't seem to find it and I remember thinking it was something I would like to try. Thanks x

Anyway, sorry for the long post, thank you to all that keep this thread up and running.

    xKBx

Hi fellow OS'rs So this is about my 10th time attempting to do this challenge but I really, really do need to rein in the amount I spend on grocerys each month, it's getting ridiculous:o So can I please join this months challenge for the last time! could you please put me down for

£165 I usually go for £250 but I just ordered loads of chicken, suasages etc from westin gourmet so that covers the meat for the month- I hope!

Anyhoo I gotta go to bed.

    Good night all and thanks

I'm going to Sonisphere this year :). The past several years I've been to Download and really enjoyed it, but this year I didn't really fancy any of the bands enough to justify the cost. I liked the look of the Soni lineup a bit better, so having heard good things about that one from acquaintances who've been, I am going there.

I take some of my own food, and buy some there. I suppose I could take more of my own but can't be doing with cooking there so only take things I can eat just as they are, then I will buy about one cooked "meal" a day. I like to check out the stalls to see which look tasty and of decent enough value, don't know about Sonisphere yet but I'd imagine it's similar to Download in that aspect, that you can find some good things among the overpriced burger vans.

Part of the cost problem is the supply of booze to take as well :D.

Morning, can you put me down for £200 again please, don't imagine that I will make it as we have friends staying later in the month but will try and be as close as possible, and who knows....
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

Good morning, and thank you for the new thread. I have decided to challenge myself this month by going down to £40 per week instead of £50, so could I be put down for £200 for June please?

I am managing to follow slimming world (more or less, lol) on my budget, and was Slimmer of the Month for May. If I'm the best they have then I suspect we could be heading for trouble :rotfl:

    Take care all of you.
