OK. Hopefully last shop of the month £47.28 at Mr A because it was on the way. Managed mainly to stick to shopping list, but had DH with me so a couple of extra items found their way in. Not too bad though as they will get used. £201.28 - Ugg. Over. But the first full month we've had since starting the challenge and still a huge improvement on the £400 odd we used to spend.

    Off to update sig.

Afternoon all. Doing fine on the GC front, as not spent my last weeks allowance (about £100), but have been away for the weekend, so need that money to pay back some of those spends. Will not do us any harm to eat out of the freezer/cupboards for this week.
Just need squash, SR flour and washing up liquid, then nothing till July where I would like to be put down for £375 again please Mrs M.
Many thanks to all who post and run the thread, cannot believe we are half way through the year already. Got a nice stew in the S.Cooker, gonna do some dumplings as OH is a big eater! DD13 hates stew, so had a portion of HM bolognaise in the freezer that will do her.
Been to the nursery school trip, so a free day out to the beach with lunch! It's all good!!!

Meant to update on Friday, but got sidetracked fixing the car! At least it keeps me busy.:rotfl: Did my usual rounds in A!di and Morrison$, spent £26.76 and £18.99 respectively.

So declaring the monthly spend at £208.02!:T

Thanks to all who run these threads, it's been a great help for me to keep my food budget down, I used to spend closer to 280 each month, so I've cut out around £50-60.

MrsM, can I be put down for £220 for July please? See if I can save a few more pounds.

Have given up totally on June - just seemed to have been spending all the time - way over budget so am writing that month off. Will start again for July at £450. Will repeat to myself - I will write a meal plan, and I will take a shopping list!

Ooooh. Just watching Daily cooks Challenge and that dhaal looks amazing. Something I could actually try. Look out guinea pig (AKA DH) I'm trying this.

ETA: As I have spinach on my delivery next week I might do Saag Aloo with it:j

Quite proud of myself. Had a £4 off £20 and £25 nectar vouchers so only spending about £17 for delivery on Monday. Don't really need it but vouchers go out of date so have done a basics/cupboard shop for before we go on holiday. :j:j:j:j:jHoliday 9th July - Can't wait

Though no one can go back and make a new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

I'm going down for £150 for July. We're off on holiday on 9th July for a couple of weeks so I won't be counting.

Well I havent added it up exactly, but I believe that I spent just under £150.
So my target for the next month is going to be £130
