Well done prophecy girl!0

Our local Morrisons in Wincanton is trying to outdo Tescos fuel vouchers, 6p off per litre if you spend £40 or more (until Sunday only but the vouchers last until the 19th June) - should save me about £5 in fuel and I can get Morrisons Miles and pay with a cashback credit card too. Result is I have three whole chickens in the fridge (3 for £10) - now I just have to work out what to do with the blessed things - anyone any ideas? Thank Goodenss the freezer is only half full!0

I love having chicken in the freezer - there is so much you can do with it. I usually joint it as I find it goes further than whole, but that's personal preference really.
Chicken be be stretched so easily: curries, pies, soups, marinade and freeze - let the marinade work while in the freezer....0 -
I know I'm already over, but another spend of £8.03. £3.99 was a bottle of red wine for me for the weekend
Got 6 x Homepride Chilli sauce for 10p each
4 x crespo olives for 24p each (eating these now, they are delish!!)
5 x whoopsied light choices fish pie @ 40p each (were £2 originally)
I'll go back 2mo for more olives & more chilli sauce. Think I'll make up some pasta sauce (the 20p stuff obviously!) chuck in the olives, and some bendy veg, and keep in the freezer.
Off to watch a box set of The Waltons, now there's a family who knew how to stretch their money!!:rotfl:My name is CherryPie and I'm addicted to grocery shopping!!

£32.62 spent on groceries in Mr M's on Saturday, but the whole bill came to £51.87 including booze (which I don't count in the grocery challenge), so I was a bit annoyed when I saw their 6p off fuel offer advertised the next day, as I won't need another £40 of groceries before it ends!Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

1 pack of Ementhall cheese ( Aldi £1.39)
White sauce.
Oil dish , place a layer of lasagna sheets in dish, followed by meat sauce, lasagne, repeat till all your meat sauce is used, then add, white sauce to top, cover white sauce with a layer of Ementhall cheese, press down in sauce to allow some of the sauce to come up through the holes in the cheese, go round all the edges as well to partly sink the cheese.
Grate some nutmeg over the top and bake it oven for 40 min at 200.
Hi can I just clarify because its not something I have thought of before, Do you use pre sliced cheese and the whole packet? I have always used grated cheese stilton is surprisingly quiet tasty in lasagne but using slices would save a lot of time and it is not as expensive in Aldi. I will be making this tomorrow as I got a pack of fresh lasagne sheets on offer in Asda at 50p. Was going to do a cannelloni but this sounds a better option. Thank you0 -

It's really the 1p T3sco thread, but there's a lot of mega cheap deals posted too, all with pics and a sooper dooper spreadsheet.
I also check the grabbit board daily:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=36
Any glitches, mainly at T3sco, are posted here, but you gotta be quick.
I always go shopping around 8pm. It fits in with my daily routine, and just so happens to coincide with the best time for whoopsies there.
And lastly, I never buy something just cos it's cheap, if I'm never gonna use it. And I always share my finds with friends & family!
Happy bargain hunting

Did a very small shop today as I had to get my car MOT'ed this morning.Only spent £4.87 and got everything I needed so no more shopping to buy for a few days as my essential list is cleared.
Had left overs for dinner tonight from my DD's sunday dinner last night.Menu all done for the week and more than enough to eat in the fridge.:):)0 -
