Lol I have put the update down here instead :)

Ok, I didn't let this lie and decided to email egg on 4th august pointing out the fact that they refunded my egg card ppi which was over 6 years old and not the loans. I had no response

Emailed again yesterday, stating I require an immediate response

Had nothing, via email etc no acknowledgement of even receiving my email. So decided to ring today. My complaint has been upheldl and two cheques issued yesterday to me, he didn't say how much. But what a result, I was going to give up, as I didn't send the Sar, or have any paper work :)

Any idea on these figures when I repaid my loan?

Loan was for £10,000 took out on 16/09/2003 when I paid it off on 5/11/2004 I had paid back £12587. I know the ppi was frontloaded

Did they use to make you pay all the ppi back when you settled early?

My monthly repayments were £212 for 76 months. When I paid it back I had to send them £9619.03. Or is interest etc?

    Confused lol doesn't take much

I havent really got a clue when it comes to figures but when you paid it back early they would have refunded part of the ppi so that will come out of the refund you are due. :D

    for example:

    Loan £10,000
    ppi £2000

Refund due £2000 for ppi and then minus refund already from paid to you on settlement £1000, you then get £1000 plus your 8% and any contractual interest.

at a guess id say your due back £1500-£2500? but as i say i havent a clue, only going on what mine have been ;)
