Hi Tiara,
Thank so much for that, I'm on lush website now ordering lol
I use Simple at the moment but it's not very good.0 -
You're very welcome
the face masks need to be kept in the fridge or freezer as they don't contain any nasties or preservatives, but I'm sure it will tell you that on the website
It may be worth asking for some samples of some of their cleansers- angels on bare skin is a very good all-rounder, and although personally I didn't get on with Ultrabland, so many people swear by it and find it amazing for taking off makeup

I can't believe what I'm reading! I'm getting married in just over 5 weeks and I'm sitting here eating chocolate bars and crisps! Fortunately I'm only 21 and I'm pretty hot

Is the fancy stuff any better? I keep looking at Clinque & Clarins toner etc & wondering if to splash out or not. Is it any better than the likes of simple or boots own stuff?Married the man of my dreams - 10th September 2012, St Paul's Bay Lindos :jIt was amazing.

Gosh - you ladies are organised! I got the skin vitamins & started to take them but then promptly forgot. Will restart!
Cleanse daily, rarely tone, moisturise when I remember. Take make-up off with face wipe when remember. Drink tea & coffee all day with little real water. MUST DO BETTER!Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #148 - £59.93

LOL Sophie! Lucky you: when I was 21 I had the skin of a 15-year-old; covered in zits :rotfl: I've got better skin now that I'm 30 then I ever had in my twenties. Still not to my satisfaction though, so will be improving it in time for my wedding. Thanks for the ideas everyone!
I love Lush stuff, but have been very badly skint of late so had to go back to Wilkos and not paying more than £1 for any product!! I will treat myself again - managed to convert H2B as well though, so I frequently nick from his stash.....

Hi fawny
I'm not a skincare specialist by any means, so not sure my advice is really worth much
However, from personal experience I would say if the products you are currently using are delivering results then don't change them- if it's not broke then don't try to fix it!
Tbh I am not a big fan of brands like Clinique and Clarins- if you look at the ingredients list, it is just a long list of chemicals, and I suspect a good chunk of the price tag is spent on pretty packaging and advertising.
I have sensitive skin and really get on well with Lush. I love that they use natural ingredients and keep preservatives at chemicals to a minimum, and I really love the results they have with my skin. So for those reasons, I feel it is worth me paying a premium to use Lush facial skincare products over the likes of Boots and Simple etc. However, if your skin is happy with those products then I wouldn't change them

Yay, another Lushie
I've had to cut back on my Lush spends as well, it is easily the thing I've found hardest to go without- give me beans on toast all week for dinner and I really wouldn't care, but I need my bubble bars and pampery treats! I've saved up loads of black pots to get some freebie face masks, and I've got a pretty hefty stash to work my way through before I start getting serious withdrawal symptoms :rotfl: It is great to find another Lush fan on here, will have to pick your brains for what type of Lush favours you think wouldbe most appreciated sometime, but that's a topic for another thread
