    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hello everyone!

Popping to report that yesterday was NSD number 13 for me! I'm on a mini-roll, whoopee! :j
Ham joints are a good idea - have some of the meat hot as a main meal, let the rest cool and be used for ham salads and sandwiches, (much cheaper and better quality than packs of processed sliced "ham") and use the stock for soups. Root veg soup is especially nice made with ham stock - onions, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, carrots, a little curry powder and sweet chilli sauce for seasoning, cooked till veg soft, liquidised, knob of butter stirred in - nice with home made bread and butter.

I luuurrve ham, and all this talk is making my mouth water! If you every have some leftovers Nargle, I'd happily oblige! :D
Have you put fuel in the Tardis, Spoon, for tomorrow's trip to Jinty's birthday bash? Hate to say this but Igor is currently staggering in with a sack of flour and twenty two chickens. He says he's doing Jinty's birthday cake tonight and needs the chickens to produce the eggs for it. Thank goodness he clarified that, I was starting to imagine terrible things.

Happy birthday Jinty! :bdaycake: I hope Igor's cake making skills are up to scratch ... :undecided

Have a good rest of the weekend everyone! sunshine.gif

My DD had an awards ceremony today for her football and got her first trophy (she is only 6 so it is more of an encouragement thing!) but she was soooo proud of herself! I was proud too as after she had been going a few weeks she said she didn't want to go any more as she thought she wasn't any good and none of the others passed the ball to her, but she carried on for the whole year and is going next year again even though she really found it difficult :) She is a star IMHO! (The coach also said to her that she had really improved over the year :))

th_soccersmiley.gif Well done to DD, LMH! Good on her for sticking with it!:T

    Good morning all!

Pleased to report #9 for yesterday!
OH paid for the coffee and bacon rolls, so result there!

The weather was awful here yesterday so we just settled in and enjoyed our new loving room! Had a visit from sis, so it was nice to catch up.
Having M&D and nieces for cake this afternoon. OH and I were going to go for lunch today till we remembered that it was Father's Day and as a consequence everywhere seems to have inflated their prices! That really annoys me and I refuse to do it!:money:
We are both off tomorrow so we will go for lunch then! Its rather nice having a wee cheeky day out on Monday!;)

    Have a lovely day everyone!:)
