Evening all! well I still haven't had a chance to catch up on all the news, but Birthday wishes all round to those who are celebrating/have celebrated over the past few days xx

Right, errr, so, NSD plan....well that didn't really happen today :o I owed money at work for the last Eur€millions draw, plus money for tomorrow's draw. I also errr...fell into T*pshop at lunchtime and 'might' have come out with two tops in the sale, well I did have three in my hand at once, put two back and bought one, then decided I might have preferred it in the other colour so went back, bought it and will decide over the weekend which once I'm keeping.

also, I have been meaning to get some bark to top up one of our boarders, I remember last year Lidl had some for £2 so stopped on the off chance there tonight....and came out with a 40ltr bag for £1.99 :j:j so, it is some gardening for me at the weekend (weather permitting of course but i hear it's supposed to be nice)

So that was my NSD well and truly out of the window.....must pull my socks up now else I won't hit my target after such a good start to the month.

Whereas I went to B'n'Q to sort out some vinyl floor tiles I picked up last Sunday (16 packs on reserve and collect, and discovered after I started to use them they'd given me three different batch numbers - had enough of one to do the en-suite, and could have done the cloakroom with either of the others - but didn't have enough of any one for the family bathroom), and while I was sooooo close to the Tr@fford Centre I decided to go and see if I could get a jacket to go with the dress I've bought for my DD's wedding.

I did find a jacket in Debenh@ms (and almost shoes as well, but that branch of N3xt didn't have my size), but I also fell into Qu!z - where I tried on 5 dresses (one of which the lass in the fitting rooms had to go and swap for a smaller size for me), and came home with 4 of them..... plus 2 necklaces, 2 pairs of earings and a ring. Given I don't wear dresses or jewellery it was a scarey spend, and I'd better get some use out out of them now ;)

psychopathbabble - glad you had a good evening with your friend, and good planning with the ocado offer today:T, I meant to use that myself

Keiss - you’re having a really busy time at the moment. I’m not surprised you’re coming down with another cold sore, they tend to strike when you’re run down.

PS: I'm totally confused at the moment as all the thanks have disappeared. If I've missed anyone out, it's not intentional and I apologise
