Asda are doing their own brand Cava Brut, (champagne-type stuff), as a special promotion in time for Mothers Day. Only £2.86.... :D

Tried it, (in the interests of research of course!), and its not bad....as good as M&S and Sainsbury's own brand stuff.

Oh, and buy 6 and get an extra 10% off!

    Cheers 1drink.gif

There's some really cool mother's day stuff here -

Discount vouchers for interflora ,figleaves and firebox.com

My fave thing is the 'promises' bit - you decide what you're going to promise your mum, click on the pic, print it off and give it to your mum! It's a really sweet idea and even better, it doesn't cost a penny!! ;-) I know mum will be really chuffed, but i'm not so sure that i'd be able to keep all the promises! ;)

They've got free ecards too, if your mum's a technological wiz then you can also send her one of these cool cards too!

Good luck and hope you make your mum's day!

Mother's Day Gift Certificate from www.maternityworldwide.org - costs £15 (OK not as economic as other gifts mentioned here) but the £15 is used to sponsor a woman's pregnancy/childbirth - ie save her life if there are complications by providing specialist midwifery and obstetric care (they have two volunteer UK midwives in Ethiopia now training local staff. They recently delivered a set of triplets, and all three and mum survived, which was basically unheard of before!).

Your mum will get a certificate telling her that you think she's wonderful and that a donation has been made to ensure another mum's safety. You could get together with a bruv/sister and buy one certificate with both your names on if 15 quid is a bit extravagant.
