I rationalized that my new shoes shouldn't be punished just because I can't budget

Only if you nag me back!
  • I have to admit to having thought along the same lines as yourself. Whilst on holiday, I showered everyday and moisturiser when I got out (the water abroad gives me dry skin) I even painted my toe nails which I don't ever recall doing before and took my make up off before bed, which again I never normally do. And I felt really good for taking the time to do these things, but when we land back down on English soil it all seems to go out of the window. I would also like to lose weight, I would be happy with a stone. I am a very emotional eater, and my stomach is led by my mood.

And I am probably going to be around forever, so will subscribe!

  • oooh a glamourthon, what a fabulous idea and turn of phrase! :j

loving the quote and the new diary, Shoe Gal. One of my favourites is along the lines of "$40,000 of shoes? I will be literally the old woman who lives in her shoes" :D at the moment my equivalent would probably be harp strings and bits of bike

glad you have come back refreshed and ready to go - good luck with everything :T

    Hi Shoe Gal

Love the diary title (another SATC fan here) and the glamourthon idea.

I too need to sort myself out. I got my skin looking really good a few weeks ago (get really dry skin and sometimes spots ) but I've let my skincare routine slip recently so it is starting to go dry again.

    Off to subscribe :)
