Qose 5.8Ghz Wireless Video Sender

I have a dream box fitted in the consevatory, I have ordered a qose 5.8 Ghz to relay pictures from that TV to one in the lounge (aprox 6ft) will I need to use the IR in front of the dreambox like they tell you to do for the sky hd box.
