    Welcome booby! :D

Donnajt - WOW!! Can I come to the caravan too??! It sounds brilliant!! Especially like the scary walk in the woods!!

Bitsy - Really, really, REALLY happy to hear that Daisy is back home. Please don't forget to let us know how she gets on. :j

Hugs and hellos to everyone else. I really enjoy reading your posts.

Well I was busy, busy yesterday and stood in the kitchen until midnight preparing veg for today's dinner!! I also decided to take the plunge and dye my hair as the grey was really starting to bug me - I felt that it was really ageing me. I did it while DH and DS were out and when they came back they didn't even notice (and still haven't) :( Ho hum

It is raining and grey here today but I don't mind - I love the English weather. Every morning opening the curtains is like opening a Christmas present - you never know what you're gonna get! ;)

Today is going to be another busy day. I have to make Sunday lunch for 8 people. We are having mince & dumplings, veg, roasties, yorkshire puddings, etc. For afters I am just off to make coconut sponge cake which we'll be having with custard.

Tea is for 6 and it will be a traditional Sunday buffet tea but I need to get a shuffty on as I still have to make a pork and egg pie to go on the buffet. It's turned out to be a baking weekend!!

Will try to get on later to catch up

    Morning all

    Welcome Nursebooby

Wet, windy and miserable here :(. I have been awake since 6.30 but stayed in bed listening to radio and reading. I'm going to have a cwtchy day - going to batch cook some things (soup and veggie chilli), watch the F1 and watch some films I think. I'll need to pop out to Lidl to get some potatoes but other than that I'm staying in and battering the hatches! Think I'll also have a bit of a pampering session with a facemask and paint my nails.

OS wise - WM will go on later, I'll have to put the heating on overnight so it can dry though. DW will probably go on too once I've finished cooking. Also going to have a bit of a tidy and sort out. May start Ebaying some bits too.

    Have a good Sunday all

It is raining and grey here today but I don't mind - I love the English weather. Every morning opening the curtains is like opening a Christmas present - you never know what you're gonna get! ;)

I love that way of seeing things :D

OMG H has just come home with a mahoosive bag full of chocolate that someone at work left for him (he did them a small favour). I am guess this person knows someone who works at Cadbury's because there is shed loads of bars of Fruit and Nut, Crunchies etc Kids think Xmas has come early (which according to NPM it has ;))

Feel really tired after swimming (not that I did much seeing as how I was supervising :o) but I was awake early as I heard DD rolling around and talking in her sleep. My get up and go has got up and gone

Daisy cat has been out in the garden in her new pink harness :) They're trying to get her to do a wee as she won't use her litter tray and they're a bit concerned she's not passing water. Anyway she's still wobbling all over the place and I had a lovely cuddle with her earlier so it's a veeeeeeery slow process.

NPM - enjoy the start of your new life :)

    Nursebooby - Welcome :hello: :D

NPM - Sound like everything's coming right for you - do you feel relieved that you never have to go back?

I've had my first glass of red in over a month - I've been following a diet that bans alcohol amongst everything else that isn't fresh (no caffeine, wheat, pasta, rice, sugar, processed foods) ... anyways have lost 23" in a month!!! :j:j:j

But I'm out with my brother and 30 of his friends next weekend - so thought I better get a bottle in this weekend otherwise one glass and I'll be under the table next weekend!!

DD's (dare I say) are playing nicely in the garden. I asked them to tidy their rooms after church and they decided to play 60 minute make other in each others rooms  it worked really well :D While they did that I tidied and cleaned downstairs. DD1 finished first and kindly wiped down all the big appliances, doors and wall in the kitchen :T All that's left to do is the bathroom, my room and the floors

Roast chicken in the oven - smelling scrummy - and dogs all chilling and relaxed ... so really my perfect Sunday :D

A lovely family from church have invited us over for dinner tomorrow which I'm really looking forward to

I really can't believe it's half way through the summer term already - this is another year that's flying by!! I'm determined not to do any work today or tomorrow - need the time off!!

Hope everyone's enjoying their Sunday xx
