    Morning my lovelies :D

Breezy here with white cloud. No idea if rain is forecast but not that a bit of the wet stuff stops anyhoo ;)

H is off at work til after 2pm :( So I am dropping DD off at my mums in a mo and taking DS swimming. Can't cope with 2 children on my own swimming :o It's the getting them dressed before they freeze to death that's the problem ;)

Got a chicken I need to roast so I may well make some more twinks at the same time to made use of the oven being on.

For those of you who haven't seen the end of yesterdays thread:

Daisy cat is home :T she's staggaring about like she's drunk and isn't really going to the toilet much but she seems really happy to be home so lets hope this is the start of her long road to recovery. She can see morre than they thought so she just needs to put on the weight she's lost and get her co-ordination going again. :D

OK had better dash, got to wash up before we hit the road.

    Nursebooby - Welcome :D

will check back later, hugs and spoons all round.

    Welcome to Nursebooby x

    Good Morning OS Friends x

I have just picked my first three Sweet Pea blooms of the season. They smell divine and make me so happy :T:T:T

Im not sure what plans I have today. Its spag bol for lunch with homegrown salad. Im having pesto mash with mine as pasta makes my tummy funny. I have to make my dad a birthday cake but will probably do that tomorrow so its fresh for his birthday.

Im finding it hard to be motivated at the moment but going to keep on trying. Hugs xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Morning all,

Had a good sleep in till nine this morning :T, wm is on with bedding in, will get dd to strip hers after, good drying day here and its meant to rain tomorrow.

Dr Who was brilliant last night :D can't wait till next week. Off to the afternoon bootie later on, and then to visit dad in hospital, he was causing a fuss yesterday about being in there so he must be on the mend, will take him a nice cake in.

DD is seeing her dad, who she has not seen for 2 weeks due to revision, so she will be pleased to see him.

We went to a village fete yesterday, and I spent £1 on the tombola and one a bottle of vintage whisky and an address book with loads of cards in :D both will go up for Xmas / Birthday presents :T

Think I might do Cheesy Nabs for dinner, we only have a small meal now on a sunday, (roast on a monday), and I have enough bits in, so nice and easy.

Marie, I hope the kitties turn up again, whats the betting they are in comfort somewhere though ;)

    Have good days all xx

Found out yesterday from my friend/colleague that my boss has hot my resignation and has told them all I have left and wont be going back;) so that is a relief. I was starting to worry seems as they hadnt contacted me that they hadnt got the notice. Just shows what they are like tho, you would think that after working there for 10 years someone in management could at least email and say something along the lines of sorry your circumstances have meant you have had to leave nursing etc.
I actually emailed the boss last night and explained a bit more about why i had to leave and why I couldnt come in to hand notice in and see everyone etc....I couldnt leave it the way it was.
It hasnt really sunk in yet, still feel like I am on leave. Cant believe i wont be seeing patients anymore.
DS still away....went away yesterday morning with his dads to his grndmas. His dad and family are off to Spain today so DS will be having a few days with grandma till we go to get him on Weds morning.
Seems very odd without him and it highlights to me how much of my life is devoted to him as I am at a bit of a loose end when he isnt here:o
    Going to bake today.
Also making a Xmas dinner :rotfl:we got a YS turkey at easter and put it in the freezer so DH and I are having that with all the trimmings later.....pigs in blankets, the lot:T
Did online shop yesterday ready for Tues....everything is going up.when Lurpack spreadable used to be on offer it was 2 tubs for £4, now it is on offer for 2 tubs for £5.....got 4 tubs to stock up...£10 on spreadable butter:eek:
OOoh have sold my wedding dress on a bridal site too.....got £350 for it and bride to be is chuffed to bits, as am I as it pays off the bits I had on Next card from DH and DSs suits from the wedding:T
Another CC will be paid off on Friday and DHs tax will be up to date next month......it is all coming together now:cool:

For those who didnt see it on FB here is a new pic of DS and his best mate Gingertomcat
