I would be as cross as you about this pau177. I book with LMDC regularly (6 times year min) and always cross check with Expedia and Opodo before I proceed to the checkout, when my Christmas holiday was cancelled because of the snow they refunded me the cost, less a very nominal amount - albeit a good 12 weeks after the event. However they did warn me to expect this delay, which they put down to the airline. So far I've got no complaints.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Ok I understand what you are saying but they are an identical product.
Dates - same dates on both holidays
Flights- same time, same airport both outgoing and incoming
Hotel - same hotel, same double room, same board.
Everything about the holiday is the same from the airline to the board. It’s not that I have found a similar holiday going out at different times it is the same lastminute.com have acknowledged that.
Its the same product like if you buy a samsung galaxy s from tescos or if you buy one from the carphone warehouse.

I know, at the time of the booking it was the cheapest I checked various websites, then 2 hours later (Actually as I was showing may parents where we were going) I saw that the holiday had been discounted. I have used LMDC before and had no complaints at all, but they should not have a price promise if they don’t want to stand by it!0 -

The terms and conditions are very clear. I don't see what argument you have against them? However much you dress it up, they are not identical according to their criteria (and it is their criteria that matters, not yours).Gone ... or have I?0 -

I’m sorry but I still cannot see which terms specifically you are referring to.
Do the price match terms contradict the general terms?0 -
I pointed out the relevant clause earlier ...Here are the full terms and conditions of the pricematch.

I agree with the others here.
Both may be the same flight, same hotel, same dates but if one is supplied by say Thomas Cook and the other by say Thomson they are not identical.
You would/may have a case if both holidays are say from Thomas Cook etc. Here to learn and pass on my experiences.

If you book a thomas cook holiday through them and then find another site selling the same thomas cook package cheaper they will match the price.
If you were to find the coop selling the same flights and hotel they would not match it as you could only compare exactly the same deal, not the same holiday.
Since writing it appears others beat me to it0 -
OK so I have just checked tour operator A is offering the holiday at a cheaper price, on the website now. the one that lastminute.com had passed my booking onto.
Cheaper than it is advertised at lastminute.com
Exactly the same holiday and the same price as the other website I found.0
