Afternoon all!
Bit of a late sign in.
MiL is here.
Well she was. Her, DH & the older 2 have gone to some local cricket.
I have persuaded DS1 to sleep in DD's room for the next 2 nights meaning MiL can sleep in his bed. This saves bringing the put-up bed in from ther garage. Ald also means MiL doesn't have to sleep in the living room.
Made gammon ham joint thing (am veggie btw!) for their lunch. We're getting chinese in for dinner.
Went to Aldi & got a few food bargains. The salad is cheap atm, so that is handy.
Love (((hugs))) & spoons all round

Hello x
I have been reading but not much OS happening here at the moment as we have the builders in:eek::eek::eek:
I have just surfaced from one of my turns. I was fine, out and about on my scooter with Kids Dad and then wham - it hit. Kids Dad brought me home and put me to bed. Now feeling a bit better but will need to sleep off the drugs!
I have had a mammoth Tesc0 shop delivered and save 70 pounds. Stocked up on store cupboard stuff and will put some stuff away for (shush christmas)!
Hugs to those that need xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
evening!
been at work all day then got home and did 2 loads of washing, changed 2 beds, mowed the lawn, did the ironing and just cooked tea.
We had a nice visit from DS1
- he'd been doing a radio broadcast from a music festival in a small town in Wales and was passing through on the way home.
Lovely afternoon here - sunny and breezy.
Hope everyone's well, will read the thread shortly xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Busy day today...Loulou2010...lol!...out of interest how old is your son? my DD was dry (by herself very little input from me) by age of 2, DS is 22 months and all my friends are telling me not to start potty training until he is 3..which seems incredibly late or am I just out of date (we have 91/2 year gap between our two babies)
hectic day today, off to town so annoying my abbey card expired in march and i still have not had a replacement despite going into branch and ordering twice! so that's £7 bus fare ggggrrrrrr
My DS wasn't dry during the day til at least 3 and still had episodes of being a lazy b*gger
whereas DD was pointed in the direction of the potty nearly 2 months ago and is now not only dry during the day she's dry at night! No idea how she's managed both so quickly but I ain't complaining
Done sod all OS here today, popped to Aldi spent £36......and managed to leave my weetabix on the side due to their ridiculous till rules :mad: It's it really so hard to be able to pack your trolley as they scan it <rollseyes> so I've paid for an item which I have now lost
OK it's only £1.39 but even so.....it was actually something for my mum so I'll have to go up and get some more from somewhere else.
Anyway better news, actually the BEST news is that Daisy cat is home :j:j She's happy to be home, got out of the cat basket and was staggering about the house like a very drunk thing :rotfl: she's drunk a lot which makes us think since she's been off her drip she's become dehydrated but she's eaten, had some fuss and cuddles and found her favourite places to lie in
She's got a long road of recovery ahead BUT she's in the best place and will even be going on holiday to Devon in 3 weeks time with my mum and dad. They don't want to put her in a cattery and since their poochie is 15 years old and can't walk far they thought they might as well buy a lead for the cat and a puppy crate and bring her along too
Thank you so much for the last week and your positive vibes and good wishes, has meant the world to us
Am going to treat myself to a sneaky wee drink to celebrate
Have a great evening and hugs and spoons all round to you all.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

bitsy So glad Daisy is home. Oz and I have had fingers and paws crossed. Being home is always so much better for recovery.
JackieG (((hugs))) even if nothing wrong. Got drowned this morning - blue sky when I took hound out. Soaked. Blue sky by the time I got home:eek:GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -

Totally off topic I know, but today I received my ring cushion, made by a very kind blogger friend & I also decided what to carry, I don't want a bouquet so I have decided to carry a few sprigs of Lavender for Devotion & Rosemary for Remembrance, for my Mother & Father & hubby's Father, who I'm sure will all be with us in spirit.
Hugs Hester

jackieg Weather atrocious. Soaked 2x today. No problem with supplying hugs. They never run out. And Oz keeps recharging them. Currently occupying 2/3 of sofa with snout hunting for his favourite treat.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500
