Hello everybody,
Hugs to all in need or want, head not working well today, think that my bp has taken a dive, hasn't happened for ages so no idea why.
Ruby....there has been no sign of Sile and to make matters worse, Thunder has taken a violent dislike to Mossy (DD3's dog whom we have adopted) and hasn't been seen for a couple of days....am trying not to think about it, still leaving food in the porch for cats, dogs can't get in there so hoping against hope. Glad that your father is ok, what a lovely thing for him to say to your mother.
DD2 and dgds (6 &3) arriving this afternoon on boat....DD decided to bring them as they have never come on boat and it was about one third the price of flights, so we will have a busy week as all 3 of them are full of energy....all the time....
Dinner will be steak and chips with whatever veg is in fridge, they are not great cake eaters so might not bother baking, although I should, but I eat too much myself when there is home-made cake around.
Windy here, rain earlier but gone now, although sky is overcast, have 2 loads of washing out and another just finishing, don't care when they dry, couldnt be bothered looking at them any longer.
Have been hoovering this morning, something I find very strenuous so am still in dressing gown, must have a shower soon or hair won't be dry before I go for visitors...too lazy to blow dry.
School ( dgs2) are having a sale to-morrow to raise money, have given them any knitting I have and will buy some books or whatever, think that will be enough from this house, DD4 will no doubt contribute something....
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and take care of each other

Well Aldi was a total dissapointment today, only got some garlic and chilli marinated chicken, went to sainsbobs for the rest. Cupboards are nice and stocked now!
I got 2 x throws for the sofa from tescos for £1.25 each! A purple and a teal one, lovely and fleecy so they will do nicely for when it gets colder
also got the puppy a toy
it's a flamingo and he had one as a baby and only one rope leg remains, so when i found thme again i thought he'd like a little treat.
OH is out with friends and i'm tempted to go join them!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

I don't know how he knew but pup could tell there was something in the tesco bag for him, i left it down stairs and the throws were above the toy but he got really hyper and made me follow him to the kitchen were he proceeded to look at the bag, then at me, and bark.
He now has said toy and is like an 8 week old again. He's a very happy pup.Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Afternoon all
Well the penthouse flat was lovely. We would need to draw straws as to who would get the master bedroom (complete with ensuite and balcony!), but the other person would get the other 2 bedrooms and bathroom so quite fair. There are 2 more massive balconies upstairs off the lounge/kitchen too with even better views. That one will probably go before we are ready to move but at least we have an idea about what we like.
Met girls for lunch and a wander, didn't buy anything at all. Off to meet my flakey friend for a coffee and catch up in a min, we were meant to have big catch up tomorrow but she has to work so meeting up now. Not seen each other in about a month cos we have both been too busy. Need to fill her in on all the Toyboy goss!
Think I will make a nice veggie spag bol for tea, and save the new recipes for tomorrow as I'll have nothing to do now I'm not meeting my friend.
Weather has improved a bit, no more rain but still windy.
Bramble - awww at the dog!

Awww. Just like mine. He knows if I've bought carrots. He has previously opened the fridge and the veg drawer to extract one:DGC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500
