Just to clarify, you buy two or three 500ml jars at a time, but object to a 750ml jar?
Thank god I got out of retail last yearI'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0 -
Mine are pretty spot on actually:
Diet coke multipacks - we buy a lot of when they're on special, the soap powder we actually buy (I'm allergic to lots), the dishwasher tablets we use... mustard, the toothpaste brand I tend to use... and squeezy Oxo - the idea of this is just beyond vile.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -

Thank God, indeed.
The last thing we need in retail is the sort of person who thinks that because he's too dumb to work out the reason for something (particularly as that - freshness - is the reason why a lot of things are available in smaller sizes), then no good reason exists. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
Yes, because I don't use them fast enough and a 750ml jar can start to go off.

Bit harsh.. maybe they thought you had a big family and bought 2x 500ml for that reason. The last thing we need on this site is rude people..0 -
They're trying to encourage you to trade up/try other products, but you also feel slightly better because Tesco give you vouchers and other shops don't. Most people are like "woo, vouchers!" and then have a more positive association with the store.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Perhaps. Of course, they could have just given vouchers for what they know I buy - which product is actually more expensive per CC than the one they gave vouchers for. But perhaps that's too obvious. The last thing we need on this site is rude people..
What, you mean like someone who says: "Than god I got out of retail" in an attempt to ridicule someone who was just querying annoying behaviour?
I quite agree. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

They dont have to send you anything to be honest. Like them, i couldnt understand why you couldnt have the 750ml. No need to get moody at people... I quite agree0 -

So you don't understand the concept of buying smaller quantities if you don't use things quickly?
What did you think the smaller sizes of non-perishable good were for?No need to get moody at people... I quite agree.
Apology accepted. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
