No, saddly, I am afraid it is racism.

nah, its not at all racist.
He's generalising the fact (or fiction?) that asian companies don't undersand the UK DSRs. Most likely not correct but he doesn't appear to in any way suggesting their inferior because of their race or beliefs.
Its no different to me saying 'chinese manufactured products are rubbish' or 'america people are overweight'.0 -

It is a generalisation based on a racially prejudicial stereotype. I think it is clear, from the tone of the post, what the general intention was.The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
I think his post has been taken well out of of proportion.0

I'm Asian...I know the community well...I campaign and support for consumer rights to be taught and to be exercised well within the Asian community...My 3rd year dissertation title is: "Consumer society - The problems within Asian communities" ... It's not racist at all =/
Trident - The special unit within the Met to tackle against black gun crime in the UK... are they racist too because they mention there's a problem of gun use within the black community?0 -

Just got another email from Marks and Spencer re the 7 day full refund rule, and they say that is their policy and infer it complies with the DSR.0

You haven't told us when the things were delivered to you, nor when you cancelled the order, nor when you returned them.Just got another email from Marks and Spencer re the 7 day full refund rule, and they say that is their policy and infer it complies with the DSR.
Have you read the responses to your previous post on this thread?
It seems that maybe you haven't fully understood the DSR cancellation terms, but until you tell us the missing info, not much more can be done.0 -
I suspect any problem with NDTV Imagine is that they are a Mumbai based company possibly working under Indian law?0
