More like £15-20. I have a hunch you're not overfamiliar with London taxis ;-)

Try using the calculator in one of the first posts

Ok, ok I got the wrong station. But it still shouldn't be much more than £10 eah way

you right and i agree . P.S tell the cabbie before you get in your thoughts . Tell cabbie to stop after a tenner hop out and carry your dad on your back till you get there. Its a age old thing trying to get value for money from people trying to make a living. good luck

P.S there is value for money and value of money

    Try using the calculator
Estimated Fare using meter at 10:06

    Distance: 4.84 km. | Duration: 16 min.

    first 310.4 meters£2.204.53 km. x £1.20 per km£5.80waiting in traffic (~6 min.)£2.40environmental charge£0.20Total£10.70on a weekend it would be£11.90

And don't be one of those cabbies who plead poverty. You can make a very good living from it.

i would rather tell the op it will cost 15 to 20 and its 13 than say 10 to 12 im not arguing the price as im not a london cabbie ( and neither are you) but op beware as the dad of a wheelchair user the Big bridge (??) closest to the london eye is difficult to get up for wheelchair users (is it westminster bridge ?) Waterloo bridge is much better enjoy london not been ther since 2008

If its any use the 59 bus goes from outside the station and goes to Waterloo Station - then you would need to walk from there.

Buses are difficult to use as a wheelchair user and carer . Cabbie the best option IMO have a great day in London if the weathers good there isnt a better place to be than the london Eye
