Gutted!! Our council tax has gone out this morning! Was hoping that we wouldn't have to pay these two months.
Maybe something to do with only being in the house since May. Will have to check.0 -
We had the same thing with our council tax, they included this month in paying when working out pro rata amount. But no payment next month, then next year it will work out over 10 months.Mtg May 2011 - £127,500/825610% CC - £2211/2211Argos Card 0% - £253.95/208.950

Had a look at my Council Tax statement. Doesn't look like we will get any free months this year! Looking back we didn't start paying till August so have already had the benefit!!
Will have to find the money from somewhere else to make the mortgage overpayments for Feb and March.0 -

How are you getting on with your job hunting?
Have you looked more into contracting?
I have an interview lined up for Wednesday, and am meeting another agency this afternoon.. It's starting to move but it's still too slow for my taste
I wish I could find something in contracting but my skills/experience seem to be too limited for them..
Am very happy for you! Enjoy the celebrations! :beer:Froggy's New Lillypad FundTotal so far: £ 10,009.770
