Good luck on your journey too!
  • Just tried to make my first overpayment of £60, but was told that the mortgage we have, that the payment needs to be at least £500 not to incur a 5% charge!!
  • For my mortgage, I just set up the direct debit to include the overpayment, but just means you have to pay this over every month  only doing £21 at the moment

  • Ours is with the Post Office/Bank Of Ireland! Think I'll have to ring them and discuss what options are available to us!
  • I've just done a check on how much Gas and Electric we have used this month.
Does 200 cubic metres of Gas and 330 kWh of Electric sound right for one month?
  • Hi - our gas this month has been 246 and elec 430! So yours is less than mine, however, as I'm on mat leave I'm at home all day most days.

  • This is our first winter so I'm not sure what it should be. We don't get our next bill till April and I don't want any nasty surprises!
The other half went back to work last week so maybe it will come down now! Let's hope so!!
