Half way back home now and just wanted to say I don't think I'd have been able to do this without MSE and all you wonderful people who have helped me along the way

Blimey, it is taking you a long time to get home......did you run out of petrol Could you borrow a bike for the rest of the way........ :rotfl:

I know that I could not have done my kids ski trip without the ideas help and support from MSE - you included.....you were one of the very first people to tell me that there are ways of getting where you want to be.

If you have had anything like the same sort of help/inspiration/kicks up the bum that I did in order to get you on your trip, then it will have made a good amount of difference to you.

So....when you get home, not only do I want to hear all about it.......did you eat loads of ice-cream......did you laze by a pool with your ipod in, reading books all day.....etc, but I want to see the plan for the next phase of life......things are just getting exciting for you and I want you to be debt free to enjoy them to the max......do you hear me??

You're right hypno, it is taking a long time to get home... currently stopping over for a few days in a swanky hotel in Dubai - for free!! (points collected from some work hotel stays over the last year).

I'm reading a book (pool-side ) that might be of interest to KC - I'll get through it before I recommend it though.

This trip has definitely pushed my DFD back a bit, but with a bit of hypno-style full-on dfw-ing I think I can do it. I will start drawing up my action-plan for the next phase of life! And get back to updating this diary more frequently!

Life has been very good to me lately - I just need to get focussed on reducing debt and not spending money, which is going to be a bit tricky seeing what's coming up...

Dubai! Interested to hear about Dubai too, especially that weird seven star hotel, even from the outside. Love to see it in RL! And nice that you're having lots of treats now, any dfw deserves treats... [ KC wanders off to put the kettle on].... remember to tell meabout the book - good or bad!

Back home now - a box jumped out of the dreaded cupboard under the stairs and managed to cut my foot - grrr. That's it, we're going to have to get in there and ebay the contents...

Just over 4 months left to get rid of my debt - yikes! Gonna have to get my skates on...

My cupboard under the stairs is still tidy and has space for all the shoes, and the hoover still manages to fit in :T

I deserve a medal........I really do Especially as you started the cupboard under the stairs challenge about a year ago!!!
