My local closes tonight, but I got one of these:

I have a receipt just like this one.I'm sure that you never walked out of the store with something for nothing, after all they need to get as much money in as possible. The receipt you have posted is the one that they print to get register the price and discounts on the system. Then they print another one at the price they are going to sell it to you. ( I haggled the price down to lower than the discount) I know this because my receipt also says £0 to pay and then they put my sale through as a 'bundle deal' and I got another receipt.

    Er I'm afraid I did :-)
I was going to pay a fiver, but they just said I could take it as it was a customer return, and potentially had bits missing and was a mix of a righthand and lefthand corner unit, but it turned out to be complete.

    And in Spalding and Stamford
  • I decided to pop over to the Dorchester store today. I bought 10X2.5l tins of their own brand paint (£2.79 a pot and an extra 40% off if you bought ten), one roll of lining paper for the kids to do paintings on, a can of glitter spray paint and 48 tester pots (24 for £1) and the whole lot came to £15!!!! What a bargain! The staff said they close next Sunday if there is any stock still there, but they didn't seem to think it would last that long. There were a couple of wardrobes and a few lights but not much else.

  • Leominster going in 6 days - loads of cheap paint left (think at 60%) and lightbulbs at 90%

    Hi all

    If you check http://everythingmustbesold.com/closure-dates/

It will tell you which stores are closed and those which have not yet had a closure date confirmed.

Not sure if that helps and not sure how upto date it is when you check their Facebook page
