Neither Walsall or Aldridge were open today. Brownhills was open but only had rubbish left and a sign which said 7 days to go.

They would be better off clearing it out tomorrow for £100 the lot and saving on Electricity!!
We took on Mr T and we won:D

Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now

I went out to the Spalding store this morning, whilst they have not yet gone as crazy as some of the other stores they are in the process of putting all outdoor living (Barbeques and garden furniture which they had quite a lot of when I was there this morning) and all Paint down to 50% off lowest price.
Sad to see them go as there isn't much choice in this line in Spalding.:(
To anyone that tells you "There is no I in team" say no there isn't
But there ARE TWO I'S IN COMMISSION and I dont get paid "Team"
    ...........:D..........

    Skipton is virtually empty :-(
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

Went to Maldon store yesterday. Not much there - mainly paints which had 70% off and quite a bit of wallpaper that seemed to be about £1.50 a roll. Shame - I was really looking forward to a trolley dash.

It said 3 days left yesterday so would expect it to be shutting on Saturday (but the website says 26th which is Sunday I think?)

It still says closing date to be confirmed on website. Tempted to take a trip up there and have a look. I'm in Boston so not too far for me.

My local closes tonight, but I got one of these:

    IMG_0291.jpg

Its a metal corner pull and swing unit to go in the corner base unit of a kitchen cupboard.

We have the same unit which we got with our MFI kitchen 7 years ago, but a couple of parts broke recently and its impossible to get spare parts as the company is in Germany.

I saw one this morning in the store which hadnt been there before, the boxes had been opened so I had a look and one of the staff came over and told me a customer had bought it and found it was a mix of a lefthand and a righthand set so returned it for a refund yesterday.

I could see the manufacturer had slightly changed the design of the mechanism which had broken on ours.

As I and they couldnt guarantee that all the bits were there, they just said it would go in the bin, so I got it free! :j
And when we had a look at all the bits at home, not only is every part there but it is infact all the bits for a righthand cupboard which is what we need so we can make use of our cupboard for nothing!
 Thanks focus, and good luck!

Wow thelurch! If MSE gave out badges for best deal of the day it would definitely go to you . I don't think you can beat 100% off. I would be framing that receipt.

It's been a great thread and I've bought lots and lots of essentials (a new kitchen) so thanks to the op for the heads up.
