Prescot closes tomorrow - up to 80% off. Best buys that I have this morning are deicer @ 9p a can, large carton of stuff to deice paths @ 30p (was £4.91), log rolls @ £1.62 (was £7.49), anti-burglar paint @ £2.40 (was £12.49), lampshade for my lounge (was £15.99, down to £3.20), Yale door lock - my mum needs a new one, so I hope this fits! - was £20.55, now £4.20, box of 42 plain white tiles, down from £12.99 to £2.20

There were rolls of roof felting that lots of people were buying, as well as timber, plants, single shelves, and pet stuff, but I didn't see how much they were.

I also bought lots of tester pots of paints for my Brownie unit. They had been £1.55 and were down to 30p each. I bought seventy pots and asked for extra discount - paid 15p each for them. Ideal for a messy activity, but I'll telll them to wear old clothes that day, not uniform!

Although some great bargains, I feel sorry for the staff. I hope they get new jobs soon.

Got a shed for 70% off today at Alton, along with a gas hob and some lawn weed & feed, the sheds were walking out the door, when we got there there was 3 of them, within 20 mins they had all gone!! Just got to find time to get the old one down and put the new one up now!!

rustington branch (where?) - west sussex near worthing... anyway, it has big "2 days to go" signs up, all stock now 80% off... very little left at 3pm today when i popped in, doubt it'll be worth them even oopening the doors tomorrow, but apparently there are still some display kitchens that seem to be unsold, and LOADS of cupboard doors and a myriad of decent energy saving lightbulbs... hth

surpirisingly sale staff still seem quite cheery, considering, good luck to them all...

The Woking one had loads of Wentworth garden table and chair sets yesterday. The sign on the door said they were not price matching other Focus stores as they had a separate pricing policy?! Still loads of paint and garden furniture...

our focus (hailsham) is closing on saturday.

all the tiles are £1 a box. paint testers are 10p a tin.

lots of kitchen units and worktops left though.

so sad though.

Guiseley branch closed today, everything that wa left wa 90% off or just like 20p or something. Sad times to see the store close!, I remember that store being there ever since i been younger.

Went there on Friday afternoon, things wa on 70% off, got some good bargains, packs of tiles at about £2.30 each down from £10.50 each. Got some other things too.

90% OFF EVERYTHING IN NORTHAMPTON TODAY, not much left apart from odd coloured paint, draught excluders, light bulbs, ex-display wall lights, tile paint..
i got some soil bag with mini pots for 10p and some seed packets for the kids

Popped into Chippenham store this morning - closing tomorrow, 90% off everything although really the only things left are rolls of wallpaper, odd tins of paint (mainly for metal) a few light fittings and a few boxes of tiles. Lots of cutomers, most leaving with nothing.
