Hi, I want to wish all the Focus staff, particularly the ex Great Mills ones, and their suppliers (who are massively affected when a major customer disappears) all the best for the future. The past couple of months must have been really difficult for you all.

I would just like to say that I have been made redundant twice, both due to site closures, and both times I have managed to find jobs fairly quickly. If you are able to get help with your CVs please take it as a good CV gets you a foot in the door. Also don't be embarrassed to sell yourself as you only get one chance to show why you are best for the job (don't underestimate the skills & experience you have gained in your current job)

    anything left in goole pls??

There was virtually nothing left when I went a fortnight ago! Haven't been since but my parents went over the weekend, and they said the prices still weren't very impressive. So I'm not bothering again.

I'm not sure how long ours has left, but some things are still 20%!! I think the pet stuff was still 25%, but then if pople are still buying it at that price, why would they need to drop it?? Got my eye on a plastic playhouse too, but i don't hold out much hope of me getting one, lol, really need he matress though :o

I asked about how the prices were calculated as I was interested in some paving slabs originally priced £2.99 each. There was a sign up saying 30% off = price £2.09 after all discounts and another with just 30% off lowest marked price so questioned if it was 30% off £2.09 to be told no however they are 40% off but the signs haven't been updated so definately worth asking.

if you want a quantity of slabs please dont be afraid to make an offer on the number you want or better still to take the lot from them
i offered £50 on 126 slabs last week and got them also just been tonight and got 98 pot plants (ALL WHAT WAS THERE) for my local school for £2 as they need to clear every thing so it makes sense to get rid of a job lot
