My local focus is closing down. I popped in today for a look and came out with 1 sack of Iams large breed dog food and one 3kg bag of senior Iams dog food. Should have cost around £32 but I only paid £18 :)

hi could anyone offer any advice please?
went to ashford middx store, l lent over to look at the bathroom cabinet, and the shelving stuck in my coat and ripped it! gutted as i only got it about 4 months ago!
went to c/s and they said that all they could do was to give me the name of the administrators and to take it up with them!! i would need my reciept for the coat, which i know i havn't got! so basically, i won't get anywhere!
someone told me though that if they are still trading, then they should be insured still up untill they close! could anyone please shed some light on this!!
thanks in advance. i am going to bed now, but will look in the morning for any replies
    thanks
i keep losing weight, but it just keeps on finding me!!!!!!:D

A lot of the "smarter than average" staff have worked out that as the company has gone bust you generally work the last few weeks and dont get paid on a sinking ship and left to pursue "paid" work elsewhere.
So you have to deal with the staff who are "left" at the stores.

They'll have to join the queue of creditors to get their redundancy payoffs
