If anyone is after weather shield paint I was really happy with the deal we got.
Dulux weathershield 26.99/5L already on 3 for 2 then 20% off. We saved loads as were going to buy it anyway at some point. :T

It's a couple of pounds cheaper per 5L elsewhere however with the 3 for 2 it worked out a great bargain. Got the cornish cream colour which I really wanted too.

My husband has been painting our house today with this paint - and its great stuff! ( tbh we did get it back in jan when it was being discontinued in ours - for a tenner for 5L - and got the paint pod roller thing too) - just wanted to say just how great the paint is - and how well the coverage is - well happy so if your in the market for it then get it while you can! :j

Grr, don't tell me the price:eek:

This just meant that we saved almost what we paid so could afford to get something of slightly better quality.
Great news though. Was only one coat required or two?

we have only had to do one coat - and it looks great - and i know what your saying about being able to afford something better quality - i was chuffed when i saw it - and more chuffed that we managed to get the exterior gloss with 20% off too - also dulux weathershield - AND even more chuffed that the sun and bargains made my hubby get on with it lol it goes a long way too -:0)

They had some 50% off (before the closing down sale prices). Then they had 30% off marked prices for the closing down sale it looked like if that makes sense?!
That was in the Guiseley store in Leeds today I saw.

Great news. We should have more than enough then. If two coats then we may have been pushing it.
A great day for it weather wise for your hubby.

It was at 50%off plus an extra 20% before the closing down (which equalled the Wickes ordinary prices) , so the current offer is not much better. Still worth shopping around unless you really want their particular styles. Especially since there will be no option to replace or add peices from the same range later ;)

Read somewhere that you have to put your name down if you want the ex display stuff - is that right?
