£4 saved today by using a voucher for Mr T ~ it has now been converted into cold hard cash by moving the money out of my grocery budget and is presently languishing in my savings account

£104.20 for me this week peoples :) £30 of which is going onto my credit card, want it down to 0 as quick as possible, sadly my wage has disappeared into cat food, cat litter, some bits from asda, car parking, crafty bits and lunch in birmingham yesterday!

Youngmummy. I would def get it done. Your safety and peace of mind is priceless.
There are some agencies that specialise in making houses/gardens safe. Phone your local police station and ask if they know of any.
Do you have any family/friends who are chippies? My brother has just made my sister a fench and gate for under £60. it's worth a quick ask about. people can only say no!!
If not how abut contacting your local college and ask if any students who are doing wood work want to make a couple of quid and get some experience. hope you find something soon.

£15 off quidco, £50 off Ebay making a grand total of £65 making my total now £179.08

hi hun, yeah my partners dad is good at all that kinda stuff, but quoted be £350 for fencing and a gate. we worked it out that its cheaper to buy from wi*es. might not be as strong but havent really got the money to splurge out £350 just for fencing, we started leveling the garden out nearer the beginning of the the year for our LO as there was holes and bumps everywhere and everytime i went out to get washing in id end up twisting my ankle or hurting my self or falling over, OH has digged it all out now, and we were given slabs for nothing (bargian) but i have decided if we;re gonna get a loan to do the fence and gate ect then we might aswell take out the extra money we will need and get it all done, at least LO can play out side properly then and the dog, rather than just use it as a toilet lol, so hoping we will be able to get a loan big enough without feeling like we're skint all the time. OH's parents said they can come over but only once a week to help as they wont be able to afford no more than that. they've been here 4 maybe 5 times since we moved here december 09, we have been going there 2/3 times a weeks, only occationally its been once a week so that LO can see his grandparents, really beening !!!!ing me off the last few months as we've been struggling ourselves, like most people but we have been going the extra mile so LO see's them, we told them we're struggling and thats why the garden hasnt been done as quick as we hoped but they're always worse, i feel like having a right go at them, everytime we go there we get critasised about something, really dont know why i bother they ow me some money i lent them last febuary and havent even paid back 1p. if i hadnt of lent it them it would of covered the garden id have a bit of savings in the bank .... current bank balance 67p and have a lovely xmas or go on a break away for a week.
sorry ive gone off subject AGAIN .... :o:(
well done to everyone btw tryed to quote your posts but it wouldnt let me quote them all .... there's just too many people to say well done too, :T... you really are inspiring me to make some money
    1. so i wont have to take out such a big loan
    2. so i can get the loan paid off quicker when i do take one out
    3. to higher my bank balance :D
we're cutting back as much as possible it comes in one hand and out the other :(
oh well. life must go on, one day ill look back and wonder why i was beating myself up about
take care all. speek soon x

more hugs youngmummy. Do you have to go 2/3 times a week, could you reduce it to 2 a week, or 4 times a month? I understand how important it is for little one to see grandparents, but if it means you are struggling financially?

My DS doesn't see his grandparents more than once or twice a year as they live too far for us to afford the train fare and we have told them that.
