£4.99 on eBay overnight. It finally looks sunny and not windy here and so I have decided that a watched ebay account doesn't attract bids. I am going to try not to look at it all day.

You have ebayitus. I heard its deadly. I nearly got struck down with it once....but lucky for me it was only a 5 day bid. Had it of been a 10 day I would of been a gonner!

Go as if you are doing a listing as normal, but in the section where you put your starting price, and select the listing duration, you should see the option 'Start listing immediately', which is always pre selected, or underneath you can select 'Schedule Start time', and put in a date and time.
It says it's 6p, but so long as you change it before the start time, you won't be charged.

To change it, you just go to edit it, then change it back to 'Start listing immediately' when you want.

    Hope this helps :)

Thank you so much for this info, ive just had a look and couldnt find the option again, but its looks as though i the past ive disabled this option, so thats why it wasn't showing, had to go into the "choose how you'd like to sell your item " options and tick the box :) ( incase anyone has the same problem! )
I can see this revolutionising my ebay!! :T

Just £3 from P1ne cone for me to add for now. I have sold a few items on ebay but will wait til I get payment through and then work out my profit after charges. After a good start to the month I seemed to have slowed down a bit but have been doing extra hours at work, so will be able to add that when i get it :)

Did some no risk offers - but lost them all, so although not out of pocket my luck wasn't in this week. Can't complain cos I have done well out of these in the past :)

Well done everyone - peeps seem to have done brilliantly with Ebay :D

as had someone come into the back garden about an hour ago, nearly had a panic attack :(, we have no side gate or anythink and fencing has all broke so OH wants to get it done asap, its happened twice now, in 3 weeks,
sorry i went off subject just abit confused and abit shook up

((((((((((((((youngmummy)))))))))))) - that is so scary! I know what you are feeling, had someone break into the house while I was still in it!

Do you have family that could help you out with a loan? are you getting any benefits that may qualify for you to apply for a community grant or a crisis loan?

Can you get a light for the garden? one of those sensor lights? So that as soon as someone steps into your garden, the light goes off? Meantime, try putting something under the back door, like a chair against the door handle, so if anyone tried to break in would make a huge amount of noise ,have trouble getting in the house and would wake you up.

Do you have community police? Could you ask if they can help with funding for fencing or the council?
