Ive never had one of these letters but I did receive a letter with a form asking me to fill it in and provide a full months bank statement.
When I phoned up it was just for a routine check and not that I had done anything wrong. Could it be that they have jut changed their way of checking all is in order?
Years ago I did receive a letter from Income support that frightened the life out of me saying I had an officer coming to the house to question my claim. Turned out they wanted my ex husbands name and details for CSA only I couldn't give them as he was living and working in Asia, so had to sign a statement.Wow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p
It is not illegal to open another persons mail unless you intend to commit fraud - this is frequently incorrectly posted
I live in my head - I find it's safer there:p
