  • Have family in LV and it currently is trying to promote itself as family friendly..we have been many times.. the last with our 1year old daughter and she loved it..

The sleaze aspect is there if you want it...... but then its there in any big city if you look for it..

Would reccomend calling hotels direct for deals.. we usually do a couple of nights in a hotel per visit..(trying to do every hotel on the strip) and find you can get rooms v.cheap compared to published rates...although not at Bellagio...

would agree circus circus is slighly dated...but TI really nice..got large suite with jacuzzi for £48 per night last July.

Primm valley shops not as good as used to be would reccommend the outlet mall near downtown (the name escapes me) nice and new but outdoors so hot whilst going from shop to shop.. whereas Primm is all inside with a/c.

If you want a bit of luxury off strip green valley ranch is the way to go...

    Enjoy

would agree with the above about primm shopping centre - it is pants
we spent hours trying to get there due to an accident on the highway and was very disappointed.

Also if you have a car and want to drive into california dont stop at the first town as it looked very dodgy think it was called Baker.

Re The Sahara, we stayed there last year, and while it isn't the flashiest i couldn't recommend it highly enough.

It was clean and the staff were fantastic, although i wouldn't recommend the buffet. It has a good pool and although it is at the bottom of the strip the monorail makes it really accessible.
